East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

I am the architect of my own destruction

Having only moved here recently Rosa had decided to go explore her new home, and what better place to start then the heart of the city. She was dressed in some grunge-looking denim shorts and a button-up tartan shirt that was tied at the bottom, on her feet she wore he favourite platform ankle boots. Her hair was styled casually, her blonde bangs tucked behind her ears and the natural waves of the rest of her hair gently bouncing down her back as she walked.

Rosa moved with a purpose, a modest confidence, her hips sashaying with every step she took along the side walk. Her golden eyes moved along the streets, taking in the faces, making a mental note of reoccurring ones whom she'd seen before, as they must be the locals.

Her stomach made an angry noise as if she'd swallowed a beehive earlier that day. Although human food was no longer necessary in her blood-sucking diet she still enjoyed indulging herself and it helped keep the little cravings she had anymore at bay. Obviously she drank blood sometimes, due to it being what keeps her alive and prevents her from desiccating. Her sparkling gaze glanced around for somewhere to eat, soon spotting the drawing appearance of the Red on the Water, her feet swiftly after moving in it's direction.

She peered her head in the door, taking in it's grand decor and the mouth-watering smell of fresh cooked meals nearly knocked her aback. She moved into the restaurant, firstly walking over to the bar, her fingers moved smoothly over the soft wood finish, a characteristically soft, warm smile pulled at her lips as she scanned over the many marvelous liquors, she ordered herself an irish whisky and took herself and her drink to a recluse table in the corner.

Rosa brought the glass to her lips, delicately drinking the burning contents as she looked over the menu. There was nothing that quite compared to the burning sensation of alcohol, it was a gift when she was newly turned at keeping the cravings at bay and now consuming a lot a day seems to just be part of her daily return, however it takes a lot to intoxicate a vampire so shes always been lucky there.
