East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

The stars in their orbits

Surely normal families didn't have this much trouble talking. Nadya shouldn't have been surprised when her brother didn't shift and simply plopped down. He didn't do anything unless it was his idea, this Nadya had learned early on. At least when she had barged into his place of business she had announced what she wanted but now Nadya was left with a guessing game with him. Fine. Nadya rolled her eyes and turned her attention to the woman who seemed to be having a very difficult time indeed. Curiosity crossed her features as she watched the internal battle that brewed within. "Thank you." Hesitance was evident in her tone though it was also proper to accept a compliment.

With difficulty the words rolled from the woman announcing herself as Samantha and how she had met the odd green-eyed panther. "How...romantic." Nadya's gaze flickered to the ebony panther. "I'll be sure not to mention the rendezvous to Isolt." Of course the comment was all in play as her banter quite expectant. Nadya folded her arms across her chest and tapped her fingers on her creamy skin in thought. "Well, as much as it's a pleasure to see you brother and your new friend Samantha I'm still not sure what you're doing here. You've never cared to come see the place before." A few dancers walking past them caused Nadya to become distracted and quickly move a few steps away to fix one of the girls' straps that was threatening to come undone in the back. As she worked on the strap she looked over her shoulder at the pair. "So, Samantha, I'm guessing since you two just met that you don't know why you're here either? Do you often go around following strange Weres?" Nadya offered no words to the dancer once she was done fixing the strap, simply turning away allowing the line to continue on in order to take their place on stage.
