East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

kissing death and loosing my breath
The had become a certain sort of familiarity with the sins that Davante had begun to accompany. Not all of them, of course, but their presence had become natural in some aspect or another. Lust was the one that most frequently socialized with them, the small group dancing a carefully woven routine - one that both tempted, taunted, denied and gave some form of satisfaction. The male that had settled beside her, however, was altogether new to her and yet there was some sort of understanding between the two that somehow, he was here entirely from the thoughts that lingered somewhere deep within her mind. Her eyebrow cocked upwards ever so slightly, her gaze intensely inspecting the slender fellow beside her with a brief display of curiosity, interrupted only by the sensation of very real fingers resting upon her knee. The female's head turned to stare into the icy blue gaze of her companion, the corner of her lips tilting upwards in a simper that verged upon mischievous. "Oh, I have my vices." She responded with a small shrug to her shoulders. She reached out, allowing her fingertips to gingerly brush against the man's cheek in a featherlight touch, "Is it so bad to want all of your attention?" The young witch whispered, her eyebrow cocked in a manner that almost challenged him to deny her. Her touch, however, was fleeting at best, a simple brush of flesh before her hands had returned to the table, her attention immediately distracted by the presence of another.

Her head cocked to the side, her long ebony locks swaying ever so slightly with the gesture as her grey tinged gaze inspected the newest member to their menagerie. She was young, insecure, and inexperienced. They were all traits the female had somehow picked up on, alluring the girl in a predatory fashion. Their waitress was an easy target though for what was another matter entirely. There was a soft laughter on her lips as she leaned her cheek against the palm of her hand, staring up at the female beneath long spider silk eyelashes. "I believe I asked you that first." She stated simply, interested far more in the what then the who. "I'd met your kind once before. He tried to strangle me for a shiny bauble." There was little more than a shrug to her shoulders as if such was a normal occurrence within the daily of her life. Her gaze turned briefly towards the man at her side, continuing with little hesitance. "What of you Davante? Have you had dealings with their kind?" She inquired, for once displaying some measure of attentiveness. She was, perhaps surprisingly so, entirely capable of remaining aware of her surroundings beyond that which Lust desired to inflict upon her.

Knowledge was something that she thirsted for perhaps as much as physical flesh itself, but then again there was a reason that lust personified her in more ways then that simple sexual need. She was ever the curious feline, enough so that it prompted her next words without hesitation, "If you tell me what you are, I'll tell you what and who we are. Sound fair?" Serafina was always game and frankly, she had every intention to drag Davante through her affairs tonight. After all, he owed her, didn't he?
