East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Sebastian EllingtonI need to feel you again, feel my lips on your skin
for one night I could be him, no, I could be better

In a way, the world seemed as if it fell away entirely for the Victorian vampire till nothing else existed within this moment but himself and Darien. Debbie was forgotten. The businessmen were ignored. The boisterous noise of the crowd was filtered out entirely. To Sebastian, the only thing that filled his thoughts was the steady beat of Darien's heart, the sound of his voice, and the overwhelming desire to see the man thrown down with nothing but Sebastian's luxurious red bedsheets surrounding him. It was perhaps this intensity of focus that Sebastian regarded him that caused the vampire to so easily catch the indication of the man's head at the sheer mention of the fae species, acknowledging he'd heard Sebastian's inquiry but answering only with an increased beat of his heart, one that suggested he'd fallen on a rather sensitive topic. The vampire's eyebrows furrowed ever so slightly though he hardly lingered upon this new found facet for very long. After all, how could he when he was but inches from the curve of Darien's lips. It was that desire that saw Sebastian raise his hand, gingerly leading Darien's attention away from Debbie and whatever terrible bit of bartending so managed to distract the fae from him.

He could see it, that hesitance mirrored within the boy's irises. It was a look he knew well - that look of anxiety and apprehension of acting so far from what they all considered norm. He'd gotten good at ignoring it, he'd gotten good at accepting that their interest within him was entirely because he forced them to be interested. Sometimes though, that all too familiar look still managed to catch even the ever charming vampire off guard and tonight was surely one such night. Sebastian entirely blamed the Vodka. Still, whatever that look made him feel was all too willingly pushed down by the simple fact of what he was. The reminder that his life depended on this and for a moment his crystalline gaze fluttered close, letting the sound of Darien's pounding heart fill his ears.

It was in that moment of weakness that Sebastian felt Darien close the distance, his lips brushing against the fellow's with the assuredness of one that had perhaps practiced kissing far too much to not be good at it. His mouth parted ever so slightly, catching the top of Darien's between his. He could taste the beer on the man's lips, just as he could too taste Darien himself beneath that strong bitter beer. It would be too easy to nip at him, too easy to let those fangs bite into that ginger flesh and though he finds it within himself to resist the urge, the same could not be said for Darien himself. All too willing Sebastian had given into their second kiss, and all too willing he had displayed the same offered fervor. The englishman leaned forward into Darien's grasp, his hand moving to find support on the edge of Darien's seat in the gesture. He felt the nip of the man's teeth upon his lip, causing his blue gaze to flutter open in surprise. It had been a while since anyone had made any gesture to bite the vampire and in some fashion or another, it amused him.

He watched as Darien slowly pulled away though any movement Sebastian might have made to mirror it was halted altogether by the sensation of the man's hand resting against his jaw. He could hear the lust dripping from Darien's words, just as he too could hear the same uncertainty that so hinted his power well at work. A sly simper crossed Sebastian's lips, his shoulder shrugging in a nonchalant fashion. "I'm sure you could show me a better one." He commented, his tone had taken on a husky ring to it, one that clearly belong within the bedroom. He heard the man's voice speaking words he'd heard a thousand times before. Words about how new this was, words about how he wasn't that type of guy, how this was abnormal and yet everything about this was entirely usual for the vampire. "I know." He responded softly, fully intending to suggest they continue this elsewhere when Darien final inquiry made him suddenly....stop.

"Wait...what?" For a moment Sebastian pulled back, his eyebrows furrowing ever so slightly in a vague show of discomfort and for a brief moment, his affinity wavered. "You don't know? You can't tell? I thought it was instinct, I thought you knew." Oh, this was going to get awkward quickly. He had assumed the fae knew exactly what he was getting into. His "prey", if they wanted to be called that, so often did. It wasn't as if he could hide the particularly pointed fangs. A soft sigh left the vampire's lips. He could lose it right here if he didn't proceed with incredible caution. "Bollocks," The decidedly english word had a habit of pronouncing his accent. "Darien, I'm a vampire." And there it was.

Good, I'm glad too <3
