She was trying to be accommodating. Having Alexis at her home allowed her the chance to do something she had never done before. Teach someone. She actually rather enjoyed it. Inside her home she would point out to the fox-girl how to use the electronics, showing her how she could cook without burning the house down. She would allow the girl to tagalong when they would go to the grocery store, explaining to her the concept of money and purchasing goods and not eating the food on the spot! She didn't mind explaining such basic mundane things that anyone in the 21st century would understand. Yet the meek woman understood that eventually they would have to go and experience some territory she was unfamiliar with, and one of those was shopping. Truly she saved this for last on purpose because she had no idea how to make this event as exciting for herself to make Alexis happy. Clothes to her were only an evil necessity, not something to consider being needed with much thought. Her idea of 'shopping' was finding the clothes that would fit and a color she would be content with. To no surprise she was rather fond of the darker colors like black, or dark black, or navy, sometimes she'd find a nice royal purple or green, if it was dark enough. Clearly her closet had no color wheel. Being dragged into the store by an enthusiastic Alexis was not to her liking, but she would force a small smile to grace her lips, encouraging the girl to continue. She didn't want to rain on her parade after all, that would be mean.

Moving quietly through the store flinching if she felt any sort of fabric along her arm, she would simply look at the clothes with disdain. Head would tilt, like a dog would, when Alexis would pull out an assortment of odd clothes filled with different patterns and colors. Again, her taste for herself were dark colors and there were some that were far too bright almost neon that made her nearly want to gag. Sometimes Alexis would find something she could actually approve of nodding her head in agreement, but most of the time each garment Alexis would take out she would scowl and shake her head with disapproval. As she trailed after Alexis she would pause, blue-grey eyes narrowed as she looked through the window store seeing that Dark Hunter she had gotten away from with that witch in the woods. As he walked down the street, her eyes would follow, just in case he decided to come by, her body tense. It was when she saw Alexis heading towards her with worry, from the corner of her eye, did she take her eyes off the brute. Looking to Alexis and behind her, where that creep winked at her, she would nudge her shoulder into hers reassuring her she was well aware of the situation and would not mind keeping her safe. Hearing her name being yelled at she would flinch whirling around the store to see the only girl in Tobi's pack approaching them. Her hand would slowly move to her side, grateful to feel no pain as the other would get closer, glad to feel that Nadya was not in pain anymore. Shrugging her shoulders she would gesture to Alexis and the clothes that sadly, were owned by yours truly.

"Was told to come here...Alexis needs new clothes."

A funny idea popped into the curly-haired woman's head as a thought occurred to her. Although she didn't approve with any of Nadya's choice of attire- a corset in daylight- the woman at least had a knack when it came to this...shopping stuff. Lifting her hand she would gently push Alexis in the direction of Nadya, glad that she was passing the baton on this one, flickering an encouraging smile to Alexis before her eyes met Nadya. She was quite the observant creature. Every few weeks she would give Tobi part of her pay from Lucian's to give to Nadya, as she now figured out he was working for her...addictions such as coffee and shopping. She would dangle a carrot in front of Nadya now, quite thrilled with the idea that she wouldn't have to do this shopping thing.

"You look like you are having fun...why don't you show her? Perhaps, I could even pick up your tab."

Apparently the mild woman could turn into a temptress. Who freakin knew?
