North

Within the Northern vicinity of the city, the wealthy gather behind meticulously trimmed hedges and high-class architecture. The pristine streets are paved with stone and the storefronts are brightly lit and inviting - for the right clientele. In the North, every establishment is eager to cater to the rich and the wealthy. Many such places are used to the sometimes peculiar requests of the otherworldly but here there is little that money cannot buy - whether it happens to be illegal or merely involves looking the other way. Vampires and Dark Hunters are often found upon these Northern streets, their long lives often contributing to their sizable wealth which allows them the luxuries that the North provides.

I do note that she looks my way when I walk in the door, her blue eyes meeting mine just for a second before she looks away. Shy, huh? I like it. I smirk in response as I make my way to the bar, eager to get my drinking on. I throw back my first shot of Tequila. I don't really have a preference for alcohol since everything pretty much goes down like water. I do notice that the blonde at the corner booth seems to enjoy her Whiskey though. I hear the ring of her phone and I turn my head just enough to watch her check it with a sigh out the corner of my eye. She doesn't seem interested in whatever it is they want. The next time it goes off, she turns her phone off. About that time, I'm sending the bar tender over with another glass of Whiskey, eager to show her my appreciation.

She looks over and then stands, heading my way. I raise my glass to her as she nears, watching as I bring the drink to my lips. I show her a charming smile as she takes a seat and chuckle at her comment about hospitality.

"Always willing to show the good side of things."

My smile brightens, flashing her pearly whites as she offers her hand for a shake and introduces herself. Rose...such a magical name. A delicate name to go with the delicate face.

"Erik."

I offer in return as I reach my hand out to grasp hers firmly. I turn her palm down gently, leaning forward to brush my lips against the back of her hand before I release it back to her. My eyes never leave hers even as I straighten back up in my seat. Turning back toward the bar, I look at her.

"So, Rose, what brings you to Sacrosanct? I just got here myself but I don't see any land marks to drag in outsiders for the benefit of vanity."

I tilt my head some, watching her with curiosity.
