She couldn't help but watch Henry as he approached. He looked good in smooth pants and a white shirt but then he had a vest on over it too. Did he get cold too? But why didn't it cover his arms? Her arms got cold all the time so what's the use of layers without layers everywhere? She raised a brow in question but didn't say anything, trying to make this evening as nice as possible. Either way, he still made the clothes look very appealing and that was the main thing. She beamed as he walked toward them. He was already assessing Nadya and Frost, which she should have expected. When he looked at Nadya, she thought she saw recognition in his eyes. Did they already know each other? She'd never asked Nadya about him before but then she had always been the protective one to help cover her back when she came back to the house smelling of Henry and well...sex. When he looked at Frost, she caught no judgement in his gaze and let out a breath she didn't know she was holding. Maybe this wouldn't be so bad after all.

He reached for her hand and she tilted her head, watching as she planted a smooth kiss on the back of her knuckles. She giggled. "Wrong place for those lips, mister, but I'll let it slide for now." She said slyly, raising a brow in challenge. Oh, she didn't mind embarrassing him a little, even in front of Frost and Nadya. She'd seen the whole gentleman kissing a woman's hand thing in movies but never fully understood it. Why couldn't they just kiss on the lips like any decent person? That's the only place it really felt good in her opinion, though she would be lying if she didn't admit that she felt that kiss on her knuckles all the way to her toes. Ok, so maybe it could feel good in other places too, but not as good. He said long time no see and she snorted, rolling her eyes but offering him a teasing smirk. Then he told Nadya that it was a pleasure to see her again and Malia couldn't help but glance at her pack mate and friend curiously. "I'm sure there's a story there you'll have to amuse me with sometime."

When Henry extended his hand to Frost, Malia almost felt a little giddy inside. She glanced at Nadya, as if for reassurance that this would go one without a hitch. Nadya was always so grounded. She had noticed Malia shifting around in the backseat on the way here and told her to relax and stop pulling on the dress. Malia had tried hard to follow her direction, but it was so damn hard not to be anxious about tonight. Her best friend and her alpha meeting for the first time, two men from different packs. Apparently packs that once wanted to kill each other. It was just so overwhelming. Nadya was there in a pinch though, nudging everyone inside the restaurant once formalities were taken care of. Malia watched curiously as a stranger walked up to them grinning at Nadya before hugging her and kissing both cheeks. They seemed to be friends or something but were they supposed to kiss like that? And in front of Frost? She glanced over at him as if curious of his reaction.

Nadya and the man, Paolo, spoke to each other, something about late notice and then the man was showing them to a table. Nadya explained how she knew the man as they took a seat and Malia leaned forward. "Burlesque? What's that?" She didn't recall ever hearing about it. Frost meanwhile seemed his usual unconcerned and relaxed self, back into playing the robot role that irked Malia to no end sometimes. But tonight, it was almost welcome. It seemed she wasn't the only one in the dark about Henry and Nadya knowing each other. She noticed Frost's brow lift at the comment from Henry and she snickered a little under breath. "Someone a little jealous?" She couldn't help but murmur cheekily, her eyes already twinkling with mischief. Frost at least able to play the civil gentleman as he shook Henry's hand and say it was a pleasure to finally meet him, though he threw in a tease about the sources that had Malia glaring at him in warning. She knew he was probably just playing around but still....no ideas.

Frost seemed hardly concerned about the man who hugged and kissed Nadya. In fact, he seemed far more concerned about Henry knowing Nadya than the man which Malia found as odd. As they sat and settled, Frost then turned to Henry, asking how he was adjusting to being a Were. Malia tensed a little in her seat befor turning her gaze to Henry. They hadn't really talked about his time as Were because the last time it came up, they fought over it and then after that, he only told her about how his Were reacted to his boyfriend, Sterling. She felt almost like it was painful for him to talk about his Were so she didn't want to bring it up. Of course, she'd seen him in his Were form and it was quite impressive in her opinion. He seemed more relaxed that way to her, free. But she wouldn't dare tell him that, sure that he would deny it.
