The ancient creature sensed a shift within the density of magic that permeated the air in the Northern quarter of Sacrosanct. It would seem there was either a very powerful supernatural being in the vicinity or there was a large gathering of them. Either way, his interest was piqued -- something that rarely happened in this day and age. Without a moment of hesitation he slips into the darkness of a deserted alley and within moments he is standing outside the door to The Witchery. His lips forming the words as he reads the sign. Interesting. Just then a car pulls up and he watches a couple disembark the vehicle dressed in their Sunday best with intricate masks hiding their identities. Antaros lifts a single brow, interesting indeed. Was this some kind of sexual kink party? it wouldn't be the first one he had ever seen. Or something more mundane like a masquerade? He suspected the latter although...no. The vampire shakes his head a bemused smile pulling at the edges of his mouth, though the gesture never fully forms on his pale lips.

He steps away from the building and blends once more into the surrounding darkness. A burst of preternatural speed he is standing outside a costume shop. His pale fingers wrap around the door handle and with a minute tug he steps inside. His pale blue/grey eyes settle instantly on a glass display case. He heads in that direction before he is rudely cut off by an older looking gentleman. Well, old for a human anyway. Antaros pauses, lifting his gaze to meet that of the store manager. Or so his laminated name tag would suggest. He examines the look set deep within the old man's eyes and holds back an exasperated sigh. Being trapped in the body of a sixteen year old did have its drawbacks. Dealing with older humans was one of them. They usually assumed he was some hoodlum or a drug dealer, even though his suit was far too expensive for either. With experienced ease, the immortal boy turns on the charm. He smiles, and gestures towards the display box. "I'd like to look at your masks please." His voice is soft and alluring, hinting at an accent from a language that no longer existed. From there he simply side steps the store manager and points to a black mask with crystal inlaid patterns. "I'll take that one." He does not bother asking for a price. Money is not an object. Hasn't been for quite some time. Pulling out his wallet, he removes his black credit card and lays it on the counter. While he waits, he fidgets, for all humans do, before taking the proffered bag and his card back. "Thank you. Have a nice night." He strides purposefully from the store and heads back towards The Witchery.

As if by simply thinking of the building, the ancient creature appears before the heavy wooden doors. He secures his mask and gives a nod to the doorman before slipping inside. Antaros is instantly aware of the other magical beings inside the building. Those who were human and those who were not. He takes his time descending the stairs, allowing his gaze to take in every face that surrounds him. He knows none of them, but how could he? He had only arrived in town last night. He pauses for a moment before the golden haired boy. Youthful in appearance, much like himself, but his eyes give him away. He is far older then his outward appearance would suggest though he is no vampire. By what manner of creature is he? The immortal boy nods slightly before moving further into the ballroom. Antaros knows instinctively he is the oldest thing in this room, though it does not come as a surprise. He spots a small group of people off to his right and he takes a moment to study their exchange. At least two of them are Were's of some sort, there are two vampires and a few magical beings of some other variety. It seems this town had quite the plethora of magical beings.

He moves towards them after moment or two, inclining his head in greeting. "Hello." His voice is smooth, quiet. His accent from ages long past, likely from a language no longer spoken or known. He smiles, that one that never quite makes it to his eyes.
