North

Within the Northern vicinity of the city, the wealthy gather behind meticulously trimmed hedges and high-class architecture. The pristine streets are paved with stone and the storefronts are brightly lit and inviting - for the right clientele. In the North, every establishment is eager to cater to the rich and the wealthy. Many such places are used to the sometimes peculiar requests of the otherworldly but here there is little that money cannot buy - whether it happens to be illegal or merely involves looking the other way. Vampires and Dark Hunters are often found upon these Northern streets, their long lives often contributing to their sizable wealth which allows them the luxuries that the North provides.

It seemed tonight would be full of things to keep Ceara occupied outside of paperwork which would be a much appreciated reprieve if it weren't for the fact that those things had the chance to ruin her bars good name. She was well aware of the people making a make-shift dance floor and the type of dance they decided to bring in which tainted her upper-class standards. If they wanted to do that, they could take that filth down to Syn for all she cared; it was going to run away her regular higher paying patrons that came for the class of the place. That was why she kept the music lower than in that gritty club. One thing at a time though, her attention was still on the gruff middle-aged man of a bartender, contemplating the best way to get rid of him since firing just didn't seem like justice after he had apparently denied some of her better customers simply because of their species.

A man slid in place beside her, looking highly amused with the situations that Ceara found the very cause of her headaches, her heightened hearing picking up his smooth tones easily. Her hazel orbs diverted from the bartender who had been working very hard to not meet her gaze, polishing the same glasses over and over, to look at the man that now took up residence in her bar. He was not a regular but the faint scent of earth and spice told that he was one of her kin which explained his behavior. "And who would you suggest...one of them?" Her gaze flickered over his shoulder to the people dancing, gullible meat bags of humans. One more standing lap dance and she was just going to mind bend the lot of them to walk in front of a bus tomorrow. Her irritation rose slightly, causing her to have to work and focus back on the man who spoke to her.

"I suppose you're wanting a drink?" Ceara raised her hand slightly, beckoning with a faint twitch of her wrist for the bartender to come over. "Fallen Froggie and Alien Brain." The bartender nodded and began whipping up the requested shots. In this place the artistry of making the shots was half the sell, if it looked like any other drink, just a slurry of ingredients in one monotonous alcoholic taste, then there was nothing to set them apart from any other bar. The bartender slid the two sets of shots in front of them then slid away just as quickly. Ceara watched him go with a critical gaze before a simper of a smile crossed her features for the first time, "These are the highlights of this weeks, a little honor to my home country with the Baileys." Her delicate fingers twisted one of the two shot glasses in front of her, gingerly plucking it up before downing it, feeling the familiar warm bite of the alcohol slide down her throat.
