North

Within the Northern vicinity of the city, the wealthy gather behind meticulously trimmed hedges and high-class architecture. The pristine streets are paved with stone and the storefronts are brightly lit and inviting - for the right clientele. In the North, every establishment is eager to cater to the rich and the wealthy. Many such places are used to the sometimes peculiar requests of the otherworldly but here there is little that money cannot buy - whether it happens to be illegal or merely involves looking the other way. Vampires and Dark Hunters are often found upon these Northern streets, their long lives often contributing to their sizable wealth which allows them the luxuries that the North provides.

It would be a crime for me to miss Isolt's big day at this fang fest or whatever she intends to call it. I'm just suprised she got Ceara to help host it. I have nothing against the owner of the Voodoo Room but she always seemed too tame for my liking. It's like she either forgot what she is or she just continues to turn away from her true nature. I know she had fun the night I took her out on a hunt. It's like she hadn't sunk her fangs into something alive in a long time. There's no fun in that. So I'm glad Isolt and her teamed up for this venture. It's been a while since I've seen Ceara so I look forward to seeing her.

Though not as much as I'm enjoying watching Isolt walk around in that mesmerizing lavender dress. The flowers seem to float along the floor with her and it's so transparent in places I have to resist the urge to put a towel around her. At the same time it makes me want to seek out Ceara's office or hell, even the alleyway out back will do, just me and her and some much required private time. But of course tonight is about decorum and about meeting others of our kind. I must be on my best behavior.

But I cannot help but enjoy the view as I saunter through the door and lean against the doorframe for a second or two, my eyes instantly glued to the only redhead in the close proximity. My lips are already in need of moisture just at the sight of her. Just dazzling.

Someone else slips past me and I nod my head in a polite greeting, intense gray gaze sliding over her black gown with appreciation before I find myself back staring at the only beauty in my life. Finally unable to help myself, I move away from the doorway and find myself at her side in no time. My arm slides along her waist easily, as if it was made to fit there, a lazy grin tugging at the edge of my lips as I nod politely to Ceara first. "A pleasure to see you again, Ceara. Great place you have, as always." My eyes gleam teasingly before I lean my lips in close to Isolt's ear lobe and whisper. "You look scrumptious, my dear. I hope you don't admire that dress enough for an encore."
