Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Sebastian Ellingtonget close enough to have fun
but not enough to get attached

Those words that so slipped through his lips were becoming more and more revealing of the feelings he had vowed not to push upon the monarch. It was so very easy, within Dorian's presence, to simply admit his affections for the fae in their entirety, just too as those before him surely had done. It took some notable measure of effort to ensure this, whatever this was, remained entirely free of any such strings or expectations. After all, he knew well the things expected of those of higher classes, things which he himself had never truly had to endure. Still, Sebastian never anticipated to find himself on this side of things, yearning so much for one of those whom should be strictly forbidden for himself to engage within. Still, it was those unhindered emotions that caused Sebastian to utter the truth of the matter, even if Dorian remained wholly ignorant of the lengths the vampire would go for him. Gingerly his lips pressed against the corner of Dorian's, as if to seal that sacred sentence with a kiss. The vampire wholly enjoyed the simper the danced upon the features of his lover, his eyebrow rising ever so slightly at the words he was greeted with in response.

"Some nights before?" He inquired, his head tilting to the side as his eyebrows furrowed ever so slightly. "Have you not been sleeping?" It had not occurred to the vampire that the fae King was possibly as exhausted as Sebastian himself, much less why the immortal fae would subject himself to such discomfort when he surely had hours of years to spend awake. Still the promise of what Dorian intended to entertain himself with during the hours that surely would exist between their risings. "I would very much like to hear the ideas you come up with." Sebastian replied, unable to deny the grin that crossed his lips at the suggestion of what his evening, and the next night too, would include. His own hand was held out to his companion at the suggestion that the pair return to the comfort of Sebastian's own home - behind those darkened curtains and within those all too lavish rooms. He could hardly deny the joy he recieved from how easily Dorian reached out to intertwine his fingers within Sebastian's own, as if the action had become entirely habitual. The vampire was all too content to offer his lover the smallest of smiles before he led the pair out of the aquarium, pausing only to thank the man at the front desk before returning into the darkened cabin of the waiting car.

He was, for the time being, content in the silence that so enveloped them, simply for the fact that this would not be the end of their evening as he had, but moments ago, so feared. It was only the sound of Dorian's voice that caused the vampire's attention to turn to the fae at his side, his head tilting ever so slightly. "Yes...I think..." He paused, his lips pressing together ever so slightly in thought. "Or maybe it was yesterday? I have not slept in sometime and the days, I fear, are beginning to blur together." The vampire admitted, leaving out the details surrounding such. After all, it would be but a subject of great confusion to explain that the many time zones he had crossed in last day or so had left his body entirely ary, much less that being awake was but a necessity to ensure the pilots that flew their private aircraft would get them home safely without his maker's idea of 'playing'. Still, the vampire shrugged ever so slightly, continuing with perhaps that which was of more meaning to both parties involved, as decidedly peculiar of a topic it was. "It was not fresh, at any rate. Microwaved blood is...rather lackluster."

He had anticipated, to some degree, that there was an reason for Dorian's inquiry on his last feast, though the fae had never before so freely offered himself in such a fashion to the vampire. In truth, so few rarely did. Most found it a matter of insult that they might be viewed as only food and others found him as some hellion beast born from the depths of satan's kingdom. There were some, certainly, that craved the call of the vampire but they had held interest him merely for what he was rather than any intrigue into whom. No, his most defining and useful trait was simply the pleasure he could provide others - his ability to be but their concubine for a singular night and each of them paid in their own life force. Still, that offer had left Sebastian entirely breathless, quite literally, the man nearly paused as if waiting for this thing to be contorted into some tease or game rather than the simple statement it was.

That Dorian might enjoy his bite, he supposed, was not wholly unsurprising and yet still something saw the vampire hesitate, as much as he yearned not too. He watched that smile dance upon the fae King's features in an effort of reassurance and weakly his own lips twitched slightly in response. Sebastian was all too aware of the way in which his companion's voice shifted as the man moved forward, this simple acknowledgment of Sebastian's lifestyle brought a soft snort from his nose. "I would have seduced you tomorrow regardless." He admitted, that roguish grin once again crossing his features at the suggestion he offered his lover. The vampire hardly hesitated to press his lips against Dorian's his hand finding the man's hips as he allowed his own head to be moved ever so slightly, letting that once simple brush of lips to be turned into something wholly more ardent in its intent. He watched as Dorian pulled away, the vampire intently aware of the man's teeth dragging across his bottom lip and his own body eagerly responded to that simple gesture. His hands tightened around the fae, drawing him closer as he turned in his seat, fully intending to engage his companion in the way Dorian so seemed to want to pull from him.

However, it was the words that fell softly from the fae King's lips that saw Sebastian pause, his eyebrows furrowing for a moment as the true meaning of such entirely an innocently spoken sentence fell upon the vampire. Sebastian could hardly deny the way his heart momentarily fluttered at the prospect that he was but the only one within Dorian's life though that joyous feeling was all too quickly squashed by a plethora of others. Guilt was the next to take it's place - guilt that although Dorian might have held his heart, Sebastian had hardly physically dedicated himself to the man beside him. Surely he had lessened his sexual exploits but they had still existed none the less. And then, perhaps as abruptly as it had come, that emotion was replaced by a far more familiar one. Fear. Sebastian had been here before - at this very moment in time with yet another individual and it had led down a disastrous rabbit hole that he couldn't bare to tumble down again. His gaze shifted towards the leather seats underneath them, a small frown crossing Sebastian's lips as he picked his words with decided care. "I cannot promise you to eat from you alone...but, if you would like, I would..." He paused, unsure almost how to offer that which he was so willing to give, "be entirely content to commit myself to you alone." Sebastian glanced upwards at the fae King, fully leaving the confines of their relationship up to him alone. Would they make that step into something more beyond that casual fling? Or would Sebastian find himself later regretting those words that had so cautiously left his lips?
