Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Edie's lips pursed at the notion that perhaps the rivalry hadn't started with Nadya. Perhaps it hadn't, and the idea of the rogue girl had been enough for the hatred that presently existed between the Nightshade and Chimera packs. She knew the story of how it had began with Raven, and yet it was clear that the other Beta was unaware of just how deeply Frost's motivation was. "Sure," She said nearly tensely. "But it continues because of you." Edie had no idea of exactly what would actually happen if Nadya did choose to join them. She highly doubted it would go smoothly, or that Tetradore would not retaliate. But it would make Frost happy, right? It was that alone that had her speaking of how she had made that choice for herself, and the nearly judgmental look that Nadya gave her regarding the situation made the Beta squirm. "It was," She said finally, biting her lip. She was glad that Nadya wouldn't do that for her children, and Edie nodded her head. "Good. Looks like you're a better person than my parents were. They cared about the power I could bring to our family, not me."

That alone had been a difficult thing to come to terms with, one she'd only started to realize as she'd gotten to know Frost. Perhaps Frost had been the first person to look at her and see something entirely worthy. He'd been the first person to treat her kindly and take her in, and for that she was entirely loyal to him. That he had given her the Beta position within his pack spoke a great deal of how much he cared for her. Edie cared entirely what would happen to Frost. The mention of what Frost would do had the girl looking over at her. "I think you'd have to worry about what your pack would do. Frost wants you, he..." She let her voice trail off, those green eyes focused on the ground. She knew well what Frost might be capable of, and though she may not have known exactly what Frost's plan was, she knew he was currently toying with the little faerie girl that Nadya and Tetradore were both fond of, though she didn't dare voice that aloud. Instead, she merely listened to Nadya explain her situation.

"Then it sounds like you've made a choice for yourself already, Nadya. You need to tell Frost that you..." Again, her voice trailed off as she listened to the other Beta, a sigh on her lips. "You need to make a choice. A real one. Keeping both of them waiting isn't fair to either of them. Frost cares about you, and he's going to continue to pick apart Tetradore's pack until you see that. If you don't want him, or think you can't, then you need to tell him." She could feel the agitation rising within herself, her head finally shaking as she regarded the other girl. "It's sad, really," Edie said softly, the full weight of those green eyes falling on Nadya. "I think under any other circumstances, you and I might have liked each other."

It was true, wasn't it? Nadya had those same strong traits that Edie herself valued. But the separation of their two packs felt like hundreds of miles. Still, that didn't stop Edie from offering the girl a smile. Not a wicked one, not one that spoke of dozens of tricks up her sleeve, just a smile. "But if you're going to join my pack, you know, we should at least get to know each other." She looked over at her. "If you decide that coming to us is something you're actually considering, maybe you and I could get a drink sometime."
