Hawethorn Village

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

you were the answer that I had

you were the answer to my dreams

Sebastian was all too intently aware of that hammering of the young woman's heart the moment that he had stepped into her few, that simple sound spoke volumes of her fear towards him - thank god he'd already fed tonight. As much as he despised it, fear always had a way of calling to the predator within him. Still, for now, such urges were easily stifled, the vampire leaning forward in that gesture entirely customary of his own era, his lips hovering but briefly over her hand as if intending to kiss without ever quite making contact to do so. At the very least, he knew exactly had to be chivalrous, despite his own discomfort at the situation he found himself within. He released her but moment later, instead offering his lover the smallest of nods and a softened simper before so following the King across the wooden floor of the apartment and towards that now immaculately set table. That slender black and white parcel so placed upon the table top. The last time he had seen the interior of their home, Dorian's own artwork had laid sprawled across this very surface. He was aware, innately so, of the young woman's sudden disappearance into the kitchen. The vampire gaze fluttered towards his companion as the King made an effort to excuse himself and silently, the vampire watched as the man disappeared into the kitchen. A small frown momentarily marred Sebastian's features, his head cocking to the side ever so slightly.

Sebastian could hardly deny his concern for this evening, especially with the noteable road bump that had appeared within his path. After all, he knew well of Dorian's care for the young girl and the sheer possibility that his own mishap with her might some how threaten the first time Sebastian had truly found himself in love was altogether terrifying. Regardless, the vampire was well practiced at keeping such emotions veiled and too appearing altogether place in the face of things far worse than this. Once, William had banned him to months of silence and yet, in the face of the public he'd managed for months to appear joyous and complacent. One night was certainly not going to be the death of him. He glanced upwards at the sound of footsteps returning towards him, that small simper once again dancing upon his features at Dorian's return. The King didn't seem too perturbed, that alone was a good sign, was it not? Those French lyrics so saw the vampire shake his head ever so slightly, his crystalline gaze so briefly dancing towards the young woman at her return with her plate in hand. "Il n'y a rien à excuser. Je suis sûr qu'il est délicieux." (There is nothing to excuse, I am sure it is delicious.). The vampire offered, entirely good-natured as always before his own words switched back to that English, "I brought wine, although I was unsure what you preferred, Samantha." It was, after all, what was expected of any good dinner guest, was it not? And Sebastian had been entirely determined once to be just that. Now, he'd be content on simply getting through the evening with his relationship intact - as silly as such concerns surely were.

Thankfully, the King at his side was all too willing to metaphorically break the ice with a tale of his own meeting with the young girl, even if it was at his own expense. His own gaze fluttered between the pair, all too aware of their particular affection for each other. Their own chemical signatures somehow were made to simply connect in a way that was altogether rare. His own thoughts on such matters were interrupted entirely by that rare glimpse of laughter from Samantha's lips, the man entirely aware of the fashion at which her eyes slid towards him at the sheer notion that the city was dangerous. He was well aware the implicit accusation that came with such a simple look, his crystalline gaze only but briefly meeting her own before his attention turned with care towards Dorian himself, instead offering the man his own efforts to remain entirely at ease, "How on earth did you manage to be run over by a bicycle? I'm fairly certain they even go slower than horses." Sebastian remained altogether ignorant of those burning questions within the young woman, the vampire aware only of her fear and rather pointed glances and words and yet, in spite of all such things, he made every effort still for Dorian's sake alone.
