Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

It isn't the poor girl's fault that she wasn't familiar with the aspect of gender role specifications. Without anyone showing or teaching her that certain things weren't meant for her to do she was helpless in understanding why Tobi was adamant that she wasn't allowed to protect. She was using her survival skills alone to keep herself alive just a little bit longer. The need to make sure Tobi was okay was one of the driving forces that made her step in front of him in the first place when the gun was drawn. If a pack was supposed to protect their own she hadn't seen it done to her. That Tobi would even want to keep her safe, especially since she wasn't pack, was something she just couldn't comprehend. She was nothing to him. There were no strings attached. Sure they spent time together, invisible threads between the two slowly coiling around each other, but she was a simple loner he was getting close to. He had a pack. Pack came first. So, if someone had to get hurt, better her than him. The tilt of his head causes his dark tendrils to fall into his inviting dark gaze, allowing the young woman to simply mimic the gesture. As he snorted and shrugged his words caused the girl to still for a moment. Staring silently at him she took a timid step back, long nimble fingers curling around one another as this odd warm feeling could be felt swirling in her chest. The possibility of having someone to go home to was an exalting sensation, the mere thought that she could always go back to him was a most agreeable thing. In the warehouse he came and went due to his captivity at Syn. His physical presence wasn't always there, but knowing she could come to him, somewhere safe, knowing if he was around she was safe, well, it didn't sound like such a bad thing. His charming grin caused the girls cheeks to brighten a light shade of pink, at the mere thought of associating him with the ability of his presence being considered safe to her. But there came the problem and she bashfully made the comment aloud to him.

"Tobi....this isn't my home, I do not own it. It is just a house...how can I go home to you if I don't have a home?"

Shyly her blue-grey eyes held his dark gaze for a moment, the light catching a hint of a lighter shade of flecks in his eyes, a tiny glimpse of something different, if only for a moment. Other, stronger scents was all over the house, giving the indication that she did not own the place. Even with how she carried herself, her head was lowered a bit, a sign that she was walking on territory that didn't belong to her. As he stared at her she would shift her eyes away from his, allowing him to simply stare at her, considering it a cat thing. Though her attention had shifted towards one of the windows that showed the scene outside. Bright blue and red lights continued to flicker as the sirens continued to wail if only mutedly. Shadowy figures continued to walk up and down the block, knocking on doors and talking to anyone that opened the door. Eyes narrowed when she noticed the shadowy figures were carrying different forms of weapons, even within her home that her Sister Pack owned, the scent of Hunter was overwhelming. Hurrying to close the window shades, hands snatched the fabric and closed them together, turning to the light switch and turning the knob to make the light dimmer. This house was not her home. Yet that didn't mean she wanted Hunters to come in and force her out. She had to keep this establishment, if not for her, then for Aleixs. The young fox girl had no one or nowhere else to go. As Tobi warned her about how not to anger Tetra she moved away from the window shrugging her shoulders.

"Tobi...I haven't told Tetra if I'm joining his pack or not, but thank you for the advice."

While Tobi began to bounce on her bed she would continue washing out the towel in her bathroom before hearing the loud crash. Rushing to his side she would sit beside him her hand gently stroking the top of his head, a tinge of hurt in her eyes when he filched away. Attempting to try once more, she felt the knot and quietly taking the pain away. A small frown crawled on her mutilated face as that feeling of pain rushed to her own head. The sound of his purr caused the meek curly-haired woman to ignore her own pain and enjoy the soothing sound that came from him. With her own headache starting to subside, her fingers would continue to stroke his head enjoying the sound and giving the boy a small smile. Content with him having such a calm demeanor, her own form began to relax, simply happy to have him like this. Though when his hand snatched at her shirt, a soft yelp came from her as she felt her small frame filled out frame fall onto his own. Panicked she tried to get off him, but his hold on her was too strong. As he pressed his well-toned form against his, confusion and pleasure clashed in her mind as her form went limp unsure with what to do. As he rolled her to her back instincts began to kick in. He was male, she was female, and she understood how those basic things went. Raven was well aware where his knees rested, on either side of her hips, his position easily above hers. Although she was terribly afraid that he would go a bit farther than she desired, even if she wanted such things from him should their status ever change, this was not exactly how she wanted this to go. Struggling her form would shift underneath him in this intimate position, trying to get him off her.

If he had kissed her three times in the field without her permission, and now he was straddling her, how far would he go? She wasn't his. This was a position mates were supposed to be in, and she was no mate of his. His snickering pulled her from her thoughts as he grins, complete and sheer confusion on her face. His exclamation that he won simply caused her to tilt her head to the side, utterly baffled. As the deranged boy explained why he was on top of her, the girl's eyes widen as a mixture of humiliation and disgust overwhelmed her. Raven felt awful that she had thought Tobi would do something so...immorally. Her form would still as she simply stared at him. All this was, was just a way of exerting his dominance. His belief that she was in the pack was fully ingrained in his head now. She tired telling him it was an invitation, but now there was no way she could fix this. Feeling guilty she gave him a timid smile. She was rather ashamed at herself in this moment. Yet before he moved up to get off her, she would move her upper torso, her frame pressing into his. Gently she would give him a small kiss on the cheek. Why she had done such a thing could not be said. Perhaps because it was her way of agreeing to his rank, her way of silently apologizing for thinking such disastrous thoughts, or wanting to kiss him back for doing that three times to her in the field. As Tobi moved off of her and laid at her side, that familiar content feeling began to arise, always at night did they sleep beside together. She was used to this, this she knew, and this she knew how to respond with. Turning her head to the side a bigger grin on her lips as she nodded her head eagerly, welcoming this change to familiarity.

"What game would you like to play?"

She was willing to play a game with him. He was her friend, and although she was ashamed she had thought horrible things about him, she was willing to make it up any way possible.

I'd Rather Feel Pain Then Nothing At All
