Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Dorian AragonaHis Royal Highness

It hardly escaped his notice in those ever-delicate moments that the acquisition of those sunglasses was, perhaps, a truly fortunate thing. Sebastian so seeming to struggle in the wake of that rising sun and the near glowing white of the light when reflected from the snowy surface. It was bright even to his own gaze. He, whom had looked upon that sun for more years then his lover had even been alive even if, perhaps, a portion of those years had been spent confined to the walls of his castle, able to bask only in that sun that streamed through the windows alone. He had been afforded a look of it all the same. How such light might appear to his lover whom had been denied even a glimpse of that bright sun in all those years he could not fathom, the brightness of it alone so seeing the vampire squint against it and yet Dorian made no effort to interrupt him all the same. This was, after all, so unequivocally Sebastian's moment to enjoy as he saw fit, a small simper so tracing his own features as his consort cast his gaze across his acreage and fields and lands like a King so given to admire his Kingdom for but the first time. Dorian stepping so silently away from that window when he, too, was assured no harm would come to his companion at the brush of that sun upon his flesh. It is the simple matter of dressing that so absorbs the Monarch's thoughts now. Dorian content to busy himself with finding his own clean clothing before setting about laying Sebastian's own upon the bed, assured to add those sunglasses to the pile before at last drawing his lovers attention towards it.

He was loath, in that moment, to draw his lover away from the spectacle of the now risen sun and the glorious English morning before him and yet, he was assured, it would be wholly worth it to take the man outside to enjoy it fully. Sebastian, in the least, appearing willing to give up that curtain of safety if only to cross the room and set about dressing himself in turn. It is that mention of a coat however that so seems to puzzle the man, if only briefly, Dorian merely inclined to watch as Sebastian so busied himself within that wardrobe before so at last emerging with a large black coat in hand. The Monarch waited only so long as it took his companion to fix that coat into place, the style of it decidedly old, of that even Dorian remained aware and yet for now at least he offered no thoughts upon it. It is with simple ease that Dorian so falls into step beside his lover once more, allowing Sebastian to lead the way through his own home and towards those front doors, the way in which the man so attempted to look through every window hardly missed, a soft hint of amusement so tainting his own features before they, at last, arrived within that exquisite entryway and before that large door. Sebastian halted now once more, Dorian so coming to stand beside him. It had hardly failed to occur to him that the door itself might yet present another barrier of sorts, that large, heavy structure so representing a barrier, in a fashion, in more ways than one and yet the Fae King makes little attempt to so pressure his lover into any immediate action. Dorian leaving the man to merely stand before it in that silent contemplation as he himself moves towards that coat rack to find his own jacket along with that winter neck tie and gloves Sebastian was normally so diligent about applying to him. Dorian so attempting to dress himself in the appropriate fashion for but the first time.

A simper at his success at even this small task readily touches his features before he moves to find another winter neck tie and too a spare pair of gloves. Dorian assured they might be borrowed for but the hour or so they would need them. He moves then towards his consort once more, yet again taking over that role of dutiful care that was, so normally, Sebastian's own. The state of shock the vampire still seemed to be wholly afflicted by hardly surprising and as Dorian so moves to apply those finishing touches to the man's outfit- leaning upward to wrap that winter tie about his neck before so pausing before him, Dorian requesting the man hold his hands out before applying those gloves. Head nodded in satisfaction only once he was assured Sebastian was fully dressed in anticipation of that sunny, yet truly chilly English morning.

"I shall open the door now, Mon Cher."

It is best, he is sure, not to startle the still rather stunned vampire with any unanticipated action. Dorian so preparing the man for the very fact he intended to open that door he had been standing before so silently for several minutes now, that wealth of morning sunshine sure to follow it in, the Monarch so attempting to prepare his lover for just that before he so reaches for that handle. The door is easily pulled ajar, allowing that sunlight spread across the floor as Dorian had so known it would and yet he hardly moves to open the door to the fullest of its capacity, more so, he leaves it merely asunder so the vampire was wholly capable of seeing out and onto his property so bathed in that sunlight and snow without yet having to step into that light before he was ready to do as such. For several moments yet Dorian remains wholly beside him, he himself so readily enchanted by that morning and all those curiosities his mind was so presented with. The sight of a single, red robin upon but one manicured hedge readily seems to enamour the King entirely. Silver gaze suddenly widened at this perfectly curious little bird with its bright red chest, the sort of which he has surely never seen before and indeed may fail to see again, such a bird leaving its nest only within the daylight. His hand so pointing to lift now towards it as it flitted busily from twig to twig, its chirping song stealing a simper to his lips once more.

"Bastian, what is that? What a perfectly bright little bird!"

That a mere bird is so capable of exciting the Monarch is evidently clear, that morning that awaited them so wholly tempting to the man. How utterly different such a place looked within the day! What was so grand beneath the moon and stars was nothing short of glorious under the sun and with those early morning mists rising still from the warming snow. How beautiful Sebastian's home! Dorian himself so longing to explore it in that time they had and yet still he remained beside the vampire, his gaze returned to that man he so adored even more then that sunlit garden before him, his gloved hand reaching for Sebastian's own now, tugging but softly upon it to see if he might encourage the man even but a step forward. There were no curtains to shield him from it here and now, that bravery he had so asked of his lover surely required now. This moment surely well beyond even that trust he knew so innately his lover held within him and as such he is simply unwilling to push the man to far too quickly. After all, even Dorian is hardly oblivious to that wealth of emotion that so surely stirred within the man still. It is easy then, to lean but easily upward, lips pressed softly to the mans cheek before Dorian stepped back and towards that front door.

"I shall wait just within the front garden for you, I shan't go out of your sight, I promise. When you are ready, love, perhaps you might join me?"

It was, after all, Sebastian's battle alone to so overcome those fears and worries and emotions that so resounded within him, Dorian unwilling all the same to be far from him and yet in this there was little he could do outside so offering his support and too, assuring the man he would be entirely within his sight to return to him at any moment. Dorian so hoping, truly, his presence within that sunlit front garden might encourage Sebastian to simply come to him. He steps with ease then down those front steps and onto the snowy path, that sunlight positively glorious and yet his gaze lingers all the same upon Sebastian within that doorway still as he turns to face him once more, his breath so released like smoke into that cold air. One hand held out again and towards his lover, Dorians voice entirely light, pleasant, that grin upon his features still.

"Come along, Bastian, how might I see your home without you to show it to me?"
