Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

if these wings could fly for the rest of our lives
It was utterly absurd, even Abigail knew that, those emotions that so seemed to afflict her as her companion suggested a world in which he was hardly the stalking creature of the night that he was and, instead, a man of far greater virtue - with that woman they so stalked as that inevitable love of his life. A world where something as similar as this transformed into a beautiful relationship that brought tears of joy to the eyes of the viewer. And yet, how it managed to bring nothing more then some shred of jealousy for the often enthusiastic girl. It was silly. Abigail wasn't the type to get JEALOUS. After all, she enjoyed having friends and she liked her friends having friends and surely Arlo deserved to have friends too. He was nice, even if he was a bit....reckless and kind of more akin to a homeless man with some of his virtues but he was still a good man! She was sure of it! And really, he did deserve to have someone to love. Everyone deserves someone to love. Even if that very prospect so produced in her an irrational fear that, maybe, he wouldn't want her around anymore in the wake of some new girlfriend. Still...couples got pets right? And that was what she was to him....just a pet. A huff left her lips at the realization of utterly everything, her tail flicking to brush with a soft thud against his face.

Rather, her head simply rested upon his shoulder, almost refusing to glance at him at this romantic evening she was unwillingly participating in. Wasn't this kind of thing rather personal? For some reason, the little panda didn't exactly want to see him all kissy kissy on this new woman who had suddenly come into his life all romantic movie style. And people thought she jumped to conclusions quickly. Here he was falling in love over a MOVIE experience! That arm he waved at her was met with a small disgruntled sound from her lips and yet, Abigail remained rather quiet in the wake of it, content to simply be the scarf on his shoulder whilst he so attempted to put those moves upon the young woman that strolled down that street utterly alone at night. Didn't they warn people against this sort of thing? She remained altogether silent as Arlo led them down an alleyway, that snow crunching beneath his feet as they followed her. That abrupt pause caused the panda's hazel eyes to turn towards the woman, watching as she regarded them with a soft gasp. It was quite clear even to Abigail that she was worried, and really the girl couldn't fault her. They were kinda scary at night. A soft chirp left her lips, as if she too could contribute to saying 'don't be scared, I won't let him kill you', not that she thought he would in the first place.

Those softly uttered words from her companion's lips drew her gaze and yet, even Abigail was not prepared for the handbag. AHHH! ASSAULT. ASSAULT. SHE WAS NOT APART OF THIS. A squeal like sound left her lips, the girl immediately diving back into the man's hood as his hand reached up to firmly grab her, jumping back from the woman as she was prepared to so bat them off with her purse. Arlo had truly chosen the absolutely WORST prey! She thought this was supposed to be some sort of romance novel! Not hit-the-panda-with-a-leather-bag! She did NOT sign up for this! Her own voice chirped loudly in accompaniment to Arlo's insistence that the girl calmed down, Abigail herself entirely flustered with this sudden change of pace. She seemed all the more willing to further outdo the panda's barking, nearly screaming over them, resulting in that electric web so flinging from his fingertips, binding her in mere seconds and sending the woman tumbling to the ground. Abby herself was entirely puffy, more akin to a cat in the way her russet fur so stood on edge. This just...felt so wrong. Someone was going to come and they were going to get in trouble or Arlo was going to get hurt and she didn't want him to get attacked by Dark Hunters and then she'd have to shift to tell them that everything really wasn't all that bad and he was good and she didn't want to talk to those hunters because they seemed utterly terrible and she'd only just learned about them just a few months ago from Calliel and and and....she stopped to breathe.

A small whimper like sound left her lips as she watched Arlo stoop down to her side, his hands firmly grasping the woman before those teeth sunk into her flesh. The female's cries were quickly silenced, leaving Abigail to shift uncomfortably upon that branch she had been placed on. She remained silent as Arlo so fed from the fallen girl, her vigilant gaze instead watching their surroundings. God she was playing lookout for a crime! Wait, was being a vampire a crime? Was this a crime? It didn't seem like a crime. Well, it wasn't moral per say...her father would be furious if he knew what she was doing but...it wasn't that bad was it? Her gaze shifted back towards Arlo as he moved, shifting the girl off the path and into the leaves. Was it wise to leave her out in the cold like this? She hardly had much time to voice her concerns before that arm was thrusted out to her, the girl leaping to jump up it and onto his shoulder where she so often remained. This time, however, there was a certain unease within the girl. Arlo's last feeding hadn't quite been like this.

Those soft words of reassurance failed to touch the girl, the panda content to remain as hidden in the folds of that hood as she could whilst he hurried back down the path and into the park once again. A soft questioning sound left her lips as Arlo's fingers gingerly reached up to brush against her fur in the same fashion he always did and yet, this time, her thoughts still dwelled upon that poor woman. Maybe after the sun rose, she'd come back to check on the girl and just....make sure she'd woken up safe and okay. After all, they were hardly the only ones who stalked the night and there were some men who definitely were not so kind to passed out female in the woods. Even Abigail had been warned against something like that. Crime of such nature had still existed, even in that small fishing village she had spent the majority of her sheltered life within. Abigail watched as that ice rink came into view and yet, the girl found herself simply wanting to return to the comfort of Arlo's apartment, dingy as it was. It almost felt like a home of sorts, even the ice rink in all it's splendor hardly distracted her from how utterly awful that whole fiasco had gone. In fact, it wasn't until Arlo's voice reached out to her that Abby's attention turned, A soft chirp upon her lips as he quite literally pulled that shirt away from his skin, providing the girl with a view of his chest. That was...unexpected. Um....well....he certainly look....healed...and um...utterly fine.
