Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

years I've walked in the coldest winds
from sorrow and pain I find my strength
the more I hurt, the clearer I see.

That quip she presented him with was merely met with a rather blank stare as the feline's large paws slowly dropped over the edge of that platform he was all too content to rest upon. He watched her as her eyebrows arched, clearly staring up at him with a measure of discontent though even he could not wholly tell if it was mock anger or entirely genuine. It seemed as if he was not the only one who had difficulty sorting through her emotions, however, as not moments later the girl herself admitted that even she was still unsure. His head tilted ever so slightly to the side as he watched her reach down to fetch that bottle, the man hardly anticipating the way in which she glanced back at him over his shoulder, inviting him inside in a fashion he too hadn't anticipated. The creature rose all too abruptly to it's feet, leaping with relative ease down the course from platform to platform before landing upon the ground with a soft thud. Somehow, trailing after her seemed far more...intriguing than the mice she offered to beckon him with. Silly girl, he may have been a feline but even his kind could take on more than a mere mouse.

Nevertheless, the were creature padded after her, slinking into the apartment behind her as she wandered back towards that piano bench she had moments ago been occupying. Tetradore himself settled upon the floor, simply watching her in the same speculative fashion in which she so regarded him. Those moments of silence were particularly rare between the duo, though it wasn't as if Tetradore really had many instances to draw from. Still, there was something decidedly soft about her in that moment, a stillness within her that he quite found attractive, if not comforting. He was hardly oblivious to the decidedly intimate moment he had stumbled on and yet, really, if that was her soul, it was a shame she did not bare it more often. That music she could craft with the touch of her fingers was altogether breathtaking and, in turn, it too hinted to the perhaps beautiful woman that lingered beneath all those more domineering traits.

Those emerald eyes slowly followed the flick of her wrist as she gestured towards the blanket nestled on the couch, the cloth certainly looked comfortable, the feline entirely content to entertain the notion of simply laying on it as he presently was, despite her offer to utilize it as a cover of sorts for the bareness of his flesh in the wake of that shift. It was inquisitive really, that she so sought to speak with him when had anticipated particularly little from her. What sort of conversation so lingered upon her thoughts that might require some sort of response? And yet, such a lingering question was interrupted only by that woman's witty demeanor once again as she so declared that she'd 'got it'. "Meeeoowww, meooowwwwwwww." The feline answered immediately in return, flashing those sharpened incisors in the process and yet, there was no venom to the jungle cat, not tonight. Truly, he hadn't expected for her to continue, informing him well that she'd never owned a cat before, though his fur bristled ever so slightly at the notion of being 'owned' in any such fashion. Still, even Tetradore could see the hint of amusement within her brightly colored irises, the woman was clearly trying to enjoy herself with his presence. My, oh my, who had gone and replaced Vhalla? That woman he had met within that sow covered clearing was nothing like the one that sat before him now.

Those jests were altogether fleeting in the wake of her true inquiry to his existence though she supposed he could not fault her, even if he was unable to answer her in a way she might find satisfactory. That notion that she had merely befriended a large wild jaguar, however, was vastly more amusing to the man, a soft chuffing sound reverberating even in the back of those animalistic vocal cords. That certainly would have made for a rather interesting evening for her, wouldn't it have? Those thoughts, however, were fleeting as his emerald eyes snapped back towards her rising frame. His gaze followed her as she stepped closer towards him, the woman clearly hesitating before him before she reached out, those fingers running ever so gingerly against his fur. The creature's reaction was almost immediate, the man's large head simply pressing into her hand as her fingers moved behind his ear, his body following suit to lean into the woman as much as possible, rubbing his face against her palm in a gesture that was purely feline and, in turn, perhaps spoke more of his growing like for the woman then Tetradore himself would ever truly vocalize.

Still, she had asked questions of him, hadn't she? He supposed it would be rude of him to force her to continue with her one sided conversations - though Samantha had always managed well enough when his moods so struck. Tetradore stepped away from the woman, instead making his way to her sofa to bounce lightly up onto that leather material. It took a bit of effort to so nose that blanket up and over his head, the feline disappearing under the weight of that blanket, his head sticking out briefly from the other side as he glanced back her momentarily. It took him a moment of consideration to so allow that shift to overcome him, that blanket a peculiar protection of sorts from the certainly grotesque sight of snapping limbs and rearranging bones and yet, that shift occurred rather quickly all the same. Tetradore himself simply flopped back against that sofa with a soft huff on his lips, his head resting upon his hand as he simply watched her for a moment, clearing his voice before providing her with the answers she was seeking. "I was patrolling. Frost is going to come back, I'm sure of it....and then I heard you. I thought you were supposed to keep playing for me....hm?" He inquired, his head tilting to the side as those bright emerald eyes surveyed her with a rare glimpse of a boyish smile upon the man's lips.
