Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

if these wings could fly for the rest of our lives
She hated baths. Well, that wasn't entirely true. Abigail loved baths. She loved sitting in the water till her fingers pruned. She loved all the delicious scents of all the different kinds of soaps and bath salts and oils and lotions and shampoos and conditioners and don't even get her started on pre-shampoos and after shower mousses. She enjoyed those fanciful beauty products she'd never gotten to indulge in during her youth in that small fishing village. It was like a BRAND NEW WORLD had opened up to her. What she didn't like, however, was someone else bathing her. It was like...an epic faux paus. Just because she was an animal didn't mean you get to treat her like one! Ignoring the fact that she was pretty certain this little vampire had no idea she was a were...or Arlo for that matter...maybe she should tell him. Abigail was wholly distracted in those moments after that bath, contemplating this very thought before A TOWEL FROM ABOVE swooped in and ATTACKED her with a vengeance! Nooooooo! She flailed. Was it really any surprise? It seemed to be Abigail's natural reaction - wiggle her little limbs with the same vengeance in the hopes that maybe she was somehow scary enough to cause her assailant to go fleeing into the night! Did it work? No. But she still tried!

Those softly spoken words of affection and the accompanying scratch of her belly hardly served to satisfy the little red panda, however. After all, she had been violated. A little bit of love certainly wasn't enough to make up for that! Instead, the russet hued creature found herself waddling back into that bedroom, determined to have her cookies and then escape. Escape was a necessity. She wasn't going to be a red panda pet for ever! And her name certainly wasn't lady! What she didn't expect, however, was that rather abrupt command to wait. Wait? Wait for what? Abigail glanced over her shoulder, her head tilted as her little ears twitched. Those hazel eyes watched as the child plucked her own night gown from the depths of that dresser. She hardly expected, however, for the child to find it necessary for her to wear something. At least, not until she was plucked from the ground, placed on that bed, and had a piece of cotton roughly shoved over her head. It was only natural, the way her clawed paws strove to get it off and yet, the vampire seemed determined and, after some struggle, Abigail found herself defeated by a mere t-shirt. There was an incredulous look of betrayal on her features as she was was then pulled against the child's chest like a stuffed animal and yet, really, Abby had little choice in the matter. A huff left her lips at the notion of tomorrow though, thankfully, as time continued on the child began to still and that sun begun to rise.

DUN DUN DUN. ESCAPE TIMEEEEE! Abigail slipped carefully from the girl's grasp, her paws decidedly gentle against the bed as she moved in epic slllllooooowww mooooo timmmeeee. Eventually, she got to the edge of the bed, jumping from the edge only to land with a soft squeak on her lips. Waddling towards the door was hardly any difficult, the girl simply glancing back at the child briefly, poor thing. She probably needed friends. Still....Abigail wanted to go home. She nosed the door open, slipping out into the hallway only to come to a rather abrupt halt as she came face to face with that dead body in the hallway. The girl had to suppress the squeak of surprise that threatened to leave her lips, her hazel eyes as large as saucers as she carefully moved around the dead female, entirely careful to ensure she didn't touch her once. It was with a breath of relief that the panda tumbled down those stairs, any thoughts of that lonely child entirely gone as she made her escape. Soon enough, quite thankfully, and with little noise, the young girl found herself out of that wretched house and back onto those streets. A yawn crossed her lips and yet she refused to stop until she got safely back to that sanctuary that was her house. Note to self: NEVER go into the rich people part of town EVER again.
