Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

The stars in their orbits

Her brother would have probably called her foolish for trusting the stranger even enough to shake his hand. Perhaps he was right though as the shock of the cold entered her system causing Nadya to inhale sharply and yank her hand away as the man released her. Slight irritation prickled as her gaze narrowed at him and that cool calm smirk on his cheeky face. Nadya wiped her hand on the side of her pants as if it were simply a nasty substance she had been exposed to. Once she was settled from that encounter she was able to focus on what he was actually saying. Riders? There were only a few Weres who accepted being paired with a human. "Well that explains the smell of barn." Her tone was a bit bitterly sarcastic, regarding his cool demeanor seated on the wall with outright huff. Honestly, Frost did start it with shocking her system with the cold.

Nadya waved her hand dismissively at his probing questions and glanced down the now clear path to her destination. "I go where I want. He is not my Alpha, he is the Alpha and he happens to be my brother as well." Which would usually hold meaning to someone knowledgeable about their kind; meaning harm to her held more weight than an ordinary subordinate. "Look, if you're going to be my stalker then we need to get walking." Nadya turned on her heels without waiting for a reply because who would wait to see if their stalker would follow and continued on her path down the sidewalk with her heels clicked softly against the concrete. She only assumed Frost would follow since he seemed so adamant about not just finding her but with all the questions. "Childish doesn't begin to describe how I feel about that boat. For centuries our kind has been killed for sport by Hunters and now we have our own kind fighting each other and gambling on it." Nadya saw the Ark as an affront, an insult to their kind, that only continued to paint them in the image that hunters set out to make them as; they were nothing but animals.

Idly Nadya thrummed the fingers of her hand over her abdomen as she walked with her gaze straight ahead, gauging on whether she should be concerned if the cold had any effect on the cub growing in her. "You know, if you're that interested in our pack you should just go and talk to my brother." She glanced over at Frost finally. "Apparently he's accepting all kinds into the pack right now." As they came up on the mini-mart on the corner Nadya paused at the parking lot entrance. "Don't suppose you have any money hidden under that hair do you?"
