Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Sebastian Ellington

I thought you knew I was filthy rich
I thought you knew I never answer my phone
I thought you knew I was a late night with a bad bite I thought you knew.

Sebastian was truly trying to see some silver lining in the wicked web that was somehow weaved around him. He tried to find assurance in those words that they might truly discover some great answer to their query that might see that conundrum simply vanish. He hoped for it, for some sort of peace within that turmoil of a storm that Anna-Marie brought within her wake - and yet, even Sebastian knew that all those efforts were utterly futile. Perhaps it was just the aftermath of all that had occurred that made the man so particularly dismal and yet, he saw nothing but bleakness tonight. It was enough that the man was entirely content to retire for the evening at the sheer suggestion of returning to that veritable sanctuary that was his own bedroom. For now, at least, he was willing to push those thoughts of Anna-Marie aside, even if there was yet to be a true conclusion that satisfied him in the slightest. Though his lover had regaled him with some beginning's of a plan, Sebastian found himself still displeased with the details. That life, after all, had so been stolen from his own very veins. It somehow felt wrong that she should be given the opportunity to experience something so utterly glorious and breathtaking when the girl was so keen to inflict horror and pain and bloodshed and fear. She did not deserve that feeling of the sun brushing across her skin or to see the true blue color of the sky. She did not deserve any of it any yet - truly, what choice did they have?

The vampire himself remained, perhaps mostly, oblivious of exactly the extent in which Dorian was prepared to go for his own benefit. Though he tried to consider that adoration he held for the King, one Dorian insisted he returned every ounce of, he could not truly imagine his boyfriend as anything more than the inquisitive, empathetic, compassionate soul he knew him to be. Dorian was, after all, the very definition of that complete and utter joy. Even as he wove his fingers within Dorian's own, any annoyance or frustration the fae Monarch held was hidden beneath that glimpse of gentleness and care and consideration. It was those sweeter emotions that so utterly drew the vampire to him in the first place. It was so rare to see a soul not drowning in the sarcastic jaded view of the world, someone who could still find wonder in all of this. It was those very traits Sebastian so adored and the realization of all those aspects of the King that he so simply loved only caused the man to move ever closer towards his boyfriend as Dorian led the way up those stairs. A soft breath of relief left his lips the moment they stepped into that bedroom, the door closing behind them to shut out the world in it's entirety. This place, after all, was meant for them alone.

He placed his glass and the extra bottle he'd pilfered on the nightstand of 'his' designated side of the bed, those shoes were kicked off with ease, the socks peeled from his feet before the vampire near fell into that welcoming embrace of the King sized mattress. Those sheets were altogether soft against his skin, the soft sound of the rain outside only further comforting the man in a fashion he thought impossible, given the evening's events. Slowly he inhaled, that adrenaline from his fear of losing his lover had left his body and mind exhausted in ways that he so often simply failed to feel. His thoughts, however, were drawn from those memories - the thoughts of which even made his heart beat even just a tad bit faster. Rather, it was that settling of Dorian against his chest that drew his gaze. That bright blue of his irises met the silver hue of his lover's, the vampire wholly unexpected the way the King leaned forward only to press his lips against Sebastian's own. That simple emotion that so laced the King's lips were certainly soaked up by the Englishman, the vampire entirely content to press upon his boyfriend that very adoration he felt. He longed for nothing more than that simple closeness between them - that feel of Dorian's body against his own, his legs entangled within his. His hand settled on his lover's waist, holding the man against him in a way he found he near needed. It was silly, the way he so wished to reassure himself that Dorian was, indeed, still here.

That softness of his own name drew his attention and yet, that final question that so rested upon Dorian's lips was hardly regarded with the same certainty. Though even he could not doubt the potency of that complete and utter adoration he held for the fae King, he did not have the same faith in his ability to ensure he was not the cause of some great harm upon the man. After all he had done to his first wife, he knew well by now the sort of things that he was capable of. He voiced little of such somber thoughts, however, merely stating quite simply that Dorian clearly had a great amount of faith in his ability to simply tolerate that pain that came from denying his maker those things she near demanded of him. He knew, to an extent, what he would be taking on. After all, he had tested those boundaries before and yet, the splitting headache that had ensued had been enough before to so make him crumble. Still, it had never quite been his own lover's life upon the line either. A small frown marred his lips at Dorian's assurance that he had complete and utter faith within Sebastian himself, a sentiment that the man was not sure he truly deserved. "I am not sure you should, Ma Biche." He uttered softly, those words little more than a whisper and yet, the vampire was perhaps a bit eager to reassure the King that even in the wake of all off that, his complete and utter love for his boyfriend was decidedly absolute.

Those words that were so sweetly uttered in return caused a small simper to flutter across his features and yet, this was perhaps a promise he was willing to believe. After all, Sebastian could so easily simply see that bright red hue of that thread that binded him to the King, near declaring Fate's intention for their paths to be crossed for life. This was a love that would not ebb and flow easily - not matter what difficulties they might face ahead of them or what challenges might be afforded to them. Delicately, he found himself near reaching out to touch that thread that was looped around his pinkie, the vampire gently toying with it between his fingers in a small effort of reassurance before his thoughts turned elsewhere entirely. After all, he had not intended for his evening to go quite like this. There had once been a plan for those chocolate truffles he'd purchased from the little candy boutique, the very sort that so crossed his mind in the wake of everything else they had endured. Idly, the vampire found himself inquiring after them, even if that simple want of them seemed distinctly childish now.

That impish grin he was faced with brought a distinct simper to his features and yet, that admittance that Dorian had some upon his very person saw his eyebrows raise ever so slightly. Truly, it was quite peculiar that the vampire hadn't picked up on that scent, his nose twitching with the clear intention of tasting the air, so to speak, whilst his lover so reached into that pocket to retrieve those wrapped goods. His bright blue eyes rested upon that small morsel, the simple presence of chocolate somehow seemed rewarding after their evening and yet, he hardly expected the way in which it was placed upon his nose. That 'critical question' saw his forehead wrinkle, his tongue sticking out in an effort to turn it upwards to reach that very chocolate he so needed and yet, he continually fell just shy of that tip of his nose and the truffle upon it. For several moments, he was willing to give it a go, tilting his face this way and that before that truffle became unbalanced and tumbled off his nose onto his cheek before landing finally on the bed beside him. "Oh, bloody hell." He commented crossly, reaching up to fish that truffle before near shoving it in his mouth before Dorian could protest. "Got it." The vampire mumbled around the taste of that delicious chocolate and, for the first time that evening, that grin traced his features, that smile finally reaching those bright blue eyes.
