Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Arlo James

See what it's like to be a vulture's lunch

This was easily one of the best nights he had in a long time. In over a year he was sure. He'd almost forgotten how good those sensations were, how good a women actually felt and how satisfied his body finally felt after that release. God, how had he given that up for so long? He probably couldn't now. Not now that he'd have another taste. Sex when you were sober was better then when you weren't he was pretty damn sure of that. He should have tried it sooner. Then again he was fairly sure if it hadn't been for Sebastian and the man providing him with not on but two women to meet his needs he's fairly sure he wouldn't have made it to the end with the girl still awake. Having one to fuck to one to bite had a way of helping him reach that end without messing it up altogether. Chances were he wasn't always going to have Sebastian around to act as a metaphorical crutch and keep his desires distracted and ultimately separated. Still, this was an excuse for practice right? Arlo frowning slightly at the idea he was probably going to have to get a lot better at flirting if he wanted to get any more of that action. Well- he'd work on that he supposed.

He detangled himself easily from the newly fainted Sophie now, the man pausing to make sure both girls were no worse for wear before that grin worked its way back onto his features, the younger vampire unable to hide his delight in how this evening had gone. Arlo hardly shy with that praise as he managed to shuck his jeans back on, the man searching through that tangle of clothes for his own shirt before bestowing that newfound friendship status on Sebastian. Dude had seen his butt after all. Hell, Arlo hardly put it past him to have seen a damn sight else as well. It was probably better if they were friends. Arlo glancing up at that almost questioning tone to Sebastian's voice as if the other vampire was considering the proposal. People had been desperate to be his friend once. Was this how far he had fallen? Was he going to have to convince someone to be his buddy? Then again getting him high was probably all he could offer, well, aside from his humour and ability to get them in to parties and his general good nature. They were friendship worth traits right? Arlo momentarily considering the fact he'd never actually had someone outwardly reject his friendship before, the man far more relieved than he cared to show when Sebastian abruptly agreed to it before going back to his phone. Whoever the hell he was talking to must have been damn well important if Seb had given up a good time like this. That request from the elder vampire to find his shirt was met with a grunt of acknowledgement as Arlo made some further effort to rummage through that pile.

That teasing tone made its way readily back into his voice as he commented on just how whipped Sebastian truly must be to be more into his phone then the women here in the room. It must be someone special or at least damn well important to the elder vampire. Arlo momentarily plucked a bra from that pile, the man eyeing it before tossing it aside, the vampire offering perhaps some of the only good advice he ever had given anyone. If whoever was on the end of that phone was that important- keep them. Even he was willing to admit it must be nice to come home to someone. Someone who waited for you. Someone who was happy to see you. The thought of his own dark, cold apartment seeing his lips turn downward slightly. Maybe he'd find something else to do after this. Home almost suddenly didn't seem that welcoming. Alone hardly had any appeal. The elder vampires assurance that opportunities like this, for him, were a dime a dozen stirred that snort from within Arlo himself. He had no problem believing that. He could only imagine how many women Sebastian must have had in his life. Lucky bastard. Didn't even have to try. Then again, he had just said 'he'. Confirming just what Arlo had at least suspected. Sebastian had a boyfriend. Then again he seemed to like women too. Maybe he just loved everyone. That congratulations that fell from the fellows lips followed by that praise saw an almost lopsided simper touch his own features, well, at least until he considered again just exactly how much Sebastian had seen even despite the way he'd looked so busy with his phone. Well that was embarrassing. Arlo allowing his shoulders to shrug in some effort to be cool about the fact he'd finally gotten laid after a year and it was maybe the best thing to happen to him in months and that maybe another dude had watched him while he did it.

"Thanks, bud. It isn't my first rodeo, although I still don't reckon I'd quite have made it if the other chick hadn't been there for me to bite. I don't even want their blood, not really, it's just a reflex for me I guess. Get excited- bite something. Sex and feeding get confused in my head sometimes. I figure I'll grow out of it- right?"

After all, feeding alone hardly made him want to sleep with his victim. It was a one way street in that regard. Sex however, seemed to trigger that desire to bite. That last word was added almost cautiously, Arlo glancing up from that pile of clothes to the other man now. Surely it was just a young vampire thing, right? He'd eventually not want to bite every time he had sex wouldn't he? Surely this wasn't going to have to be something he managed for the rest of his life was it? He finally found his own shirt within that pile, Arlo plucking it from the floor to pull it on and over his head, his bright blue gaze turned back towards Sebastian then as he made some effort to tame his hair into something less 'just-fucked' looking. His features frowning readily in consideration as he spoke.

"Are you saying I can stop the venom? No one has ever told me that. Well, how do I do that? That would solve all my damn problems. I mean seriously, I think about feeding on someone and it starts running, I taste it sometimes, not that it does anything to me. I could bite myself stupid and it wouldn't effect me."

Probably for the better really. If he could bite himself and give himself that high he was fairly sure he'd never come down. He crouched easily to grasp Sebastian's shirt from the floor as the elder vampire spotted it, Arlo handing it readily to him then, his gaze drawn briefly downward to note Sebastian's......state of being. Both eyes lifting slightly.

"You know, I can probably wake Not Sophie up if you want a turn there, bud? You've got some...er.....wind in your sails there."

Then again, if Sebastian had someone waiting at home for him it seemed far more likely that was his probable destination. Arlo having some idea then of just what Sebastian might have been doing on his phone, that rather evident state of his figure giving that away. That offer of the man's phone number was met with a nod, sure, exchanging numbers, friends did that right? Maybe he could convince Seb to let him feed off him again. After all, he wasn't about to forget the taste of that blood. Arlo fished that phone from his pocket then, tossing it to Sebastian with ease to let the man enter his own phone number, Arlo taking it back before swiping his own fingers across the screen, sending that text right back to the other vampire- providing his own number in turn.

"Do you want a lift somewhere, Seb? I mean, if you can give me a street name I can probably take you there if its within a mile or so radius from here. Might save you some of the walk and get you home sooner to a cold shower or that boyfriend of yours."
