Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

we all fall down like toy soldiers

His brother was probably the only person he'd ever be in this position for. Sprawled out on the floor and perfectly comfortable being beneath his gaze. If it had been anyone else, he'd have been climbing to his feet in moments to raise his head above theirs. There'd been a time when he'd been brought low and there was no way he'd be that way again, but he knew his brother would never do it to harm him. Maybe just his ego, but never physical.

A part of Finn was bursting to apologize for just up and leaving, but he'd never been good with goodbyes. He'd left what friends he had in his old life with not a word, too afraid they'd convince him to stay. In this case, he was sure it had been to prove that he could be independent, that he would be able to figure out things on his own. In his case, he was pretty sure he failed. Coming crawling back to the city, back to his brother's doorstep like nothing had even happened if only a bit thinner and more gaunt then when he'd left.

But it had and he fidgeted on the other end of the couch, almost as if he couldn't sit still, just listening and not saying a word. But when fire was brought into the picture, his eyes lit up like a child on Christmas. It had been too long since he had played with fire that he was almost itching to reach for a lighter at that moment. A habit he picked up while he was gone, flipping the lid open and closed on the zippo in his pocket.

Borrowing and owning, they'd tried to civilize him when he first when to school. Sit downs with guidance counselors that didn't seem to do any good, he'd been a wild child and often skipped to go off into the woods with a friend or two to destroy what they could. He was used to doing what he wanted and for someone to all of a sudden set down boundaries and rules was not something he was comfortable with. He'd still been a quiet kid, refusing to speak English when spoken to and even getting sent to detention like it was some sort of big deal.

The amusement crossing Dav's features when he mentions not being able to beat the boss almost made his lips twitch up in laughter. But he'd retreated. His gaze cutting towards the ps4 before Dav's warning rings out and he's laughing, the darkness fleeing from his gaze. "Yeah okay, I'd just be a permanent fixture on your couch then. There'd be no way I'd be hobbling around" he laughs, because he could totally see it, "You'd have to buy one of those bells, you know, like when you ring a maid or some shit."

"I did actually. I may have even gotten some on the doorknob. Hope you washed your hands with bleach." He laughs, "I mean, I could go remark my territory..."
Dav's taunting with the beer was enough to earn him a glare, "Are you going to give me that or what?" It was demanding, there was no asking for the beer he had bought.

Did Ellie tell you she's moving into an apartment in the city...? That made his head snap up, and his brows raise in confusion. "Alone?" He asks, and he's not sure why it irks him so much, the fact that she would be living alone or that she would be in the city where anything could happen.

"Youâ€"" He pauses, "You aren't going to ask me about it, are you?"
