Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

the best thing about tonight's that we're not fighting [TROY/SEB/DORIAN]

Residences

It had been a couple of weeks since she had bumped into Sebastian outside the baby store. She had invited him and Dorian to dinner, considering that they already knew about her pregnancy. Amelia had been itching for some human interaction. It wasn't that she was bored with Troy...but she needed variety. She needed to feel normal and being a pregnant vampire made her feel anything but normal.

Already her belly was so swollen with child that she felt like she was carrying a watermelon in her stomach. She waddled when she walked and she didn't feel the least bit sexy. However, Troy made sure that she knew how beautiful and sexy she was â€" sometimes several times in one day. Dr. Greene had been by earlier today and warned her that based on the baby's size, she could delivery any day. It made her nervous to know that soon, her baby would be here soon. The nursery was ready and Troy seemed anxious to meet their child. As for Amelia? While she was excited, she was nervous. What if she was a horrid mother? What if she wasn't ready? She felt inadequate and yet...Troy stood beside her still, telling her they would be great parents.

Dressed in an elegant black cocktail dress, she figured it would at least somewhat hide the watermelon of a belly she sported these days. She had the cooks prepared a decadent duck as well as some AB+ blood with orange flavoring from her favorite donor. She made sure she had something on hand for Sebastian as well. After all, she could not have her dinner party be a flop.

As she hustled around the kitchen, she felt a twinge of pain in her belly, something she assumed was simply the baby's movement. It came and went, leaving her thoughts just as shortly as it had entered them. Once she ensured that everything was ready, she went looking after Troy who was likely still getting dressed for the evening. "Troy, what if this dinner is a flop?" She did not want to ruin her first impressions to Dorian. She was trying, she really was.

And suddenly, the doorbell rang and she felt another twinge in her belly. Surely this was nerves, right? "God, Troy. They are here. Does my hair look okay?" Her hair hung loosely down her back, curled lightly. She had tried to ensure that everything was set and ready, despite Troy's insistence that tonight would go well. Rushing from their bedroom, she hurried to the entrance of the home (as quickly as she could being as pregnant as she was) only to find that the butler had already welcomed their guests into the parlor. She entered the room, smiling to them both. "Welcome." She offered them both a smile as she moved towards the bar. "Care for a drink?"
