What You'll Find Here

Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

and I will love you even when we're dust amongst the stars

you could rattle the stars.
you could do anything,
if only you dared

As Dorian steps out of the room, the assassin merely stands and brushes the dust from her black pants, offering that morning greeting before realizing it was indeed evening. When the Monarch responds, Vhalla merely offers a shrug at his explanation, before she had left, the man had already taken to sleeping more during the day, the woman recalling that spring day all those months ago when Dorian had joined her in the grass and helped her understand her powers more. The man had even gone as far as to show her those shadowy weapons he could create out of thin air; the woman had taken his idea and used it to enhance her own training, morphing those flames into something decidedly stronger, something she could wield on those jobs Ivan sent her on. And yet, it was something she had never shared with Dorian or Sebastian... her ties to Ivan and what she did for a living, though she was certain the two men had at least an inkling. Though, that was guilt that swirled in the pit of her stomach, having known the two men for quite some time and she had yet to share much of anything with them. Something the woman wanted to rectify and yet she had no idea where to even start.

Those thoughts are pushed from her mind as she glances up to see Sebastian lingering in the doorway, catching the tail end of her explanation that she had merely snuck in through the bottom window. Vhalla's blue gaze find Dorian's as his eyes seem to widen at the possibility that they were unable to keep someone out, so she merely goes on to explain that their security detail was lacking, Sebastian's response almost immediate as his gaze seems to linger on Dorian. And that was jealousy that quite nearly punched her in her gut, noting the way the two men looked at each other. Truly, the woman had never cared to have a lover and yet, what would it feel like to have someone care about you so much they would lay down their life your you? The assassin has to squash down that thought, allowing a wry smile to cover that flash of envy, her fingers gently running their fingers through Maxwell's soft fur. "Oh please, do you really think a security system is going to stop someone from getting in?" She asks, that obnoxious arrogance of hers rearing its head.

"As for your guards, I could do a better job than all of them combined," she sniffs in disdain, hardly realizing that she might have just offered her services only to comment on Maxwell becoming a guard dog. Dorian's words has Vhalla looking at him with incredulity, "Your dog is in preschool - you interviewed with preschools?" The woman is entirely shocked before a wave of laughter hits her. Of course, they would put their dog in school, it was oddly fitting. Shrugging, she returns her attention back to Maxwell before asking if she could keep him. Truly, she didn't expect the men to let her have the puppy but she's surprised at Sebastian's next string of words, her brows shooting up in delight as she grins at the vampire. "I'm fully prepared to spoil him rotten," she states proudly, lifting the squirming bundle up to her face and nuzzling him, laughter rolling from her tongue as Dorian mentions Sebastian brought him home one evening. A truly sweet notion, something Vhalla would most likely be on the receiving end, though she was rather pleased that her friends seemed to be doing well.

Dorian's offering of breakfast or tea has Vhalla glancing up, her eyes contemplating for a brief moment. The woman had taken on a rather... unhealthy habit since returning back to Sacrosanct, hardly eating and practically drinking day after day away, the habit taking an unhealthy toll on her body, though she was sober now, she was certain it wouldn't last long, "I'm fine, but I will take a drink," Vhalla states suddenly, her eyes traveling to Sebastian knowing full well just where his ridiculous liquor selection was stashed. Setting Maxwell back on the ground, she moves away from the doorway so that the two men might have some space to lead her down the hallway to wherever Dorian now hosted guests. Waiting for them, she falls in behind them, her mind returning back to the question Dorian presented her with. "More or less," she states a bit evasively, she didn't want to lie to the men, "I spent most of my time in Europe... working," she frowns, hardly liking the way she referred to those jobs as work.

"As exciting and amazing it was, I missed Sacrosanct and wanted to come back," she shrugs casually before her eyes brighten a touch, "My travels are boring compared to what has happened to you two while I was gone," she offers them a knowing smile, "I think congratulations are in order, when's the big day?" She inquires, a touch of happiness filling her blue eyes as she looks at the two men. And truly, Vhalla was entirely happy for them, pleased they had found each other.
