Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

We the Weak, We Man the Frontlines

He could feel a slight annoying ping in his head, as he would bite down on his lip for a moment. Of course Lazarus would make a snide remark like that. But it was to be expected after all. Besides, Lazarus nor Elain had any clue as to what he was doing for work.
Yes, there was the occasional pickpocketing he got away with. Sure, it was just from some rich snob that he knew wouldn't even care if he was missing a couple hundred dollars.
But he wasn't doing it as often as he used to in his youth.
No, he didn't need The Council coming down on him and Kat especially. Even though she specifically said she had pull with them.
Still, never hurt to play it safe in this scenario.
Taking another sip of coffee, his eyes shifted towards Laz who would take the hit from Vhal. He wanted to laugh, but he had to restrain himself.

He put his tattooed hands together and leaned on his knees, staring forward into the open space as he had to put in some thought in on how to word things to Laz and Vhal.
"Let's just say... I hunt people some days, and others? Well, I just simply listen and return with the information I gain, and I get paid. Simple as that."
He explained as he pulled his hands from one another and took another of his coffee, that was surprisingly still warm.
Donovan couldn't help but feel slightly awkward in some way. Maybe it was the mass amount of tension that existed between Vhal and Laz. It was like a weight pressing down and it wouldn't go away.
Not to mention it caused his stomach to be extremely uneasy. It had been a good couple years since he felt this kind of sickness in his gut. Why now all the sudden?
It would cause him to growl exactly like a cheetah would. He wondered if that would make Vhal feel nervous hearing an animal like growl come from him. Then again, she didn't seem the type.

Donovan cleared his throat and leaned back with his tattooed arms crossed. "So Laz.. What did you do to deserve that look she just gave you? Or do I run the risk of being hit myself just asking that?"
He was now wondering if he had really asked a touchy question. And the way Vhalla swung at Laz spoke volumes. Then again, she had some rage in her swing, and more often than not, rage made people have some power. Donovan knew that all too well.
He'd lost control of himself more times than he cared to admit. He recalled the time he shifted right in front of one of his victims... They didn't go home that night. But he did, and it was best that it happened that way. He wanted to try and keep under the radar as much as possible. Though some cases, he knew he wouldn't be able to avoid being caught..
Donovan took a deep breath and exhaled heavily as he turned to Vhalla and kept his hands together.
"So, what do you do Vhal, if I may ask?"
