Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

He was hardly surprised in any sense to see that near quizzical expression taint his lovers features in the wake off his own simple assurance that Arlo certainly valued his opinions. It was decidedly clear to the Monarch that the younger vampire had, to some extent, desired to please Sebastian or in the very least gain his approval. Dorian quite assured such desires came purely from some measure of respect his lover had so managed to earn with the other man and yet too- Dorian was so hardly surprised that Sebastian appeared oblivious to the idea. For a being so entirely good at people Sebastian so had a tendency to struggle with the idea that others often found him decidedly agreeable even when he was hardly trying to be. Vampire or otherwise his fiance was the very sort of man other people tended to desire to be near, to talk to, to engage with even when he himself so hardly desired those things. Dorian often finding that very idea of great amusement. Besides, that Sebastian was clearly the older vampire so surely contributed to Arlo's own clear respect off him to begin with. It was, to Dorian's mind, a pleasant relationship and one he so distinctly hoped his lover might maintain. Arlo was, perhaps, not at all the sort of creature Dorian had so pictured Sebastian befriending and yet- he could see the appeal of the younger man's good nature and easy temperament. Abigail equally as personable. That soft chuckle humming within his throat at Sebastian assertion he had hardly giving Arlo any reason to value his opinion so. Dorian allowing that warm simper to find his lips once more as he regarded his fiance again. Ah, but how he adored that man!

"I think you will find, Mon Cher, that you have quite appealed to him without even trying. You are quite good at that you know. I am also rather assured though that you are the older vampire and he trusts you- quite simply- to help him with those things I am sure only other vampires know."

That warm simper so shifted into a near teasing grin at that veritable mention of that 'secret vampires business' Dorian was rather sure existed in some capacity. Dorian finding himself once more considering how pleased he was Sebastian had chosen such friends at all. It was good for him surely. Good for them in turn to finally have the sort of friends they might desire to spend time with rather than attempt to usher out the door the moment that meal was finished if only to spare themselves yet another discussion on Italy's policy on heaven knows whatever terribly boring topic their political 'friends' so often came to talk to them about. Such thoughts, for now, were easily cast aside as the Monarch moved to cross back across that floor, his arms wrapping almost lazily about Sebastian's waist as he pulled the man against him. Dorian quite relishing in that sensation of closeness as his lips pressed to that ever-sensitive flesh off his lovers neck. That soft sound that stirred within Sebastian's throat entirely pleasing to him before those further words were softly uttered against his skin in that warm breath. The Monarch positively fearing for Arlo's courting skills when it came to that sweet, demure and decidedly chaste young woman. The King so inquiring as to whether Arlo knew just how innocent he was assured that girl was. Sebastian promptly assuring him the other vampire had been informed. Dorian once allowing that amsument to taint his features before that abrupt declaration that Arlo would have struggled to flirt with a 'Minger' saw that confusion taint his own features.

He had, over time, become distinctly more familiar with several of Sebastian's favoured british phrases, Dorian often given to find them amusing and endearing all at once and yet this one he was assured he had never heard before. The Fae King looking towards his lover near expectantly then as the vampire made an effort to explain 'Mingers' apparent connection with unattractive, distasteful women. Dorian's gaze lifting slightly in the wake of that explanation, the man assured he would remember such a word lest his lover ever use it again. His head nodded a moment later.

"I shall remember this word."

He assured simply, his lips pressed a final time to his companions jaw before he simply proceeded to tumble back atop that bed in the sort of fashion Sebastian alone might be allowed to see. The world at large hardly permitted to ever see that Monarch in such an undignified fashion with his rumpled pants and mused hair and yet- these moments, Dorian was sure, were by far some of his most favoured. When they might have one another entirely to themselves. His gaze lingering contently upon Sebastian's all-too appealing figure as the man undressed before coming to stand between his own legs. Dorian eagerly meeting that kiss he was offered in the wake of his announcement that tonight had surely been Abigail's first introduction to wine. Any further thoughts upon that other pair momentarily forgotten in the wake of that embrace, his own hand lifting to run through his lovers hair in that fashion he so adored. Sebastian easily deepening that kiss into something all the more satisfying.

He was reluctant, in every sense, to so lean away from that kiss. His figure already responding to that simple touch, his form shifting just so to help Sebastian remove those pants from his figure and yet he found himself near afflicted with another curiosity of sorts. Abigail's words so hardly having left him in the wake of that evening. Dorian never yet having considered the varying flavours of blood to varying vampires before, much less what Sebastian's own might taste like. Did it truly taste as chocolate to Arlo? Dorian seeing little need not to ask after those peculariaties that plagued his mind- only to be assured he himself surely tasted like dessert- his eyes rolling nearly playfully then and yet too, he found himself rather pleased to be referred to as such. Sebastian leaning suddenly forward to nip at his flesh prompting that ready response within the man, that soft sound stirring within the back off his throat followed by that groan of dissatisfaction when those teeth did not pierce more fully into his skin. Dorian near conditioned to respond to that drug his body had come to eagerly anticipate. The Monarch assuring the man he was positively wretched in his teasing as he collapsed back upon that bed all over again. That sudden query as to why Abigail had proceeded to shout Sebastian's name prompting another chuckle from the man.

Sebastian, he had suspected, had hardly been as satisfied with that explanation Abby had offered as Arlo had. Dorian affording his fiance a near sheepish look as he admitted to that ploy of sorts he had engaged within if only to have the girl realize her own feelings. Sebastian's admittance that he so agreed with the woman on just where Dorian's eyes should remain resulting in that ready laughter once more. Perhaps he should not have teased the woman so and yet she was so decidedly innocent that he was near assured she required such blunt pushing. After all, Arlo did have a pleasing behind, Dorian largely oblivious to just how much of all of Arlo that Sebastian had already seen, that roll of the vampires eyes hardly missed as Dorian so requested the man turn around so he might compare his fiance butt to that one he had suggested he had examined tonight. The Fae King taking several moments of playful consideration before declaring that he supposed Sebastian's was nicer. Those words entirely in jest. Sebastian, after all, had the most satisfyingly glorious physique of any being Dorian had ever met. The Monarch waiting only so long as it took Sebastian to return to that bed for his lips to find his one once more. That kiss he afforded him now holding every bit of that utter adoration for the man within it.

He pulled but softly back from his lover once more then, those final considerations quietly offered in the wake of that embrace. Arlo's very query on their future plans for their family of sorts perhaps having prompted that greater depth of thought in the Monarch. He had, once, so simply believed he would do as every Prince before him had done. Marry a woman of his fathers choosing and father several children to carry on the ownership of whatever minor lands he had been given. It had been the done thing, the expected thing and yet how very much the world had change!. How very much more choice existed now and indeed, until he had come into the discovery off his own power he had readily anticipated that his choice in Sebastian had eliminated any chance of those biological children in the least. To reconsider the idea of children with the man he adored was....not at all displeasing. To know that Sebastian shared those desires to, one day perhaps, have a child of their own with him was nothing short of glorious to him. Dorian finding himself looking keenly towards that future even if it was so they chose never to have that family outside of one another. The very options and possibilities that existed before them were exciting. That very life he so looked forward to living decidedly wonderful to consider. That grin upon his lips in the wake of those words surely displaying those feelings. Those words softly uttered then.

"Frankly, I cannot wait to be your husband."

Those very options however perhaps prompted him to offer that singular discovery of sorts he had considered of late. After all, if he could bring Sebastian to life then surely that life so afflicted all of him. The vampires ability to father children surely entirely intact with his own assistance. Dorian unwilling not to share that assurance with his lover even if neither were ready in any sense for that family just yet. The Fae King merely allowing his gaze to rest upon the vampire then as that clear look of contemplation seemed to find him. Dorian simply allowing the man those moments of silence to consider those ideas before softly assuring him that he himself, for at least a few more years, was inclined to simply desire to be selfish all the same. Dorian not at all ashamed to admit his desire for all of his lovers attention Sebastian so seeming to accept that newfound knowledge readily all the same, promptly declaring those decisions something to be considered when they were entirely ready to consider it. That simper finding the Fae's own lips then, whatever words he had so been about to offer abruptly ceased as Sebastian pulled him effortlessly to his feet with that singular assurance backstreets did not have beds.

"I quite like these back streets already."

That tender touch of his lovers hands across his physique all-too easily prompted that soft sound of satisfaction from within him, Dorian's own figure pressing all the more eagerly against his lovers own. That sensation of skin on skin nothing short of glorious. His own hands lifted easily then, nestling once more into his lovers hair to draw Sebastian's lips back to his own, his teeth running softly over that lower lip to only further encourage his lover's own actions then. Dorian quite willing to allow each and every one of those previous thoughts to utterly dissipate in the wake of that singular desire.
