Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

His Royal Majesty

Dorian Ellington-Aragona

The King of Italy

It was surely a foolish notion in every sense and yet, Dorian could so hardly deny the simple pleasure he took during Giles speech in so knowing that his meeting Sebastian had changed so very much for the vampire. So much so that even his staff had come to notice it. The Monarch could so hardly deny it had impacted him any less, Matteo himself commenting simply that in all those years he had never seen Dorian near so happy as he was at Sebastian's side and yet, somehow, to hear those very things spoken, to have their family acknowledge that love and affection they saw so readily with their own eyes was somehow decidedly sweet. That very grin Dorian had worn all evening hardly faltering in any sense. A part of the man decidedly curious to see this handbook Sebastian's staff had been keeping about him for several years and the vampire had seemingly known little about. Dorian half inclined to wonder whether or not he himself would start appearing in that very book now that Sebastian and himself and solidified that promise off forever.

How any being existed that did not desire to get married he hardly knew. Not once it was so they had met that fabled 'right' person. He understood, to some extent, that modern way of thinking- that marriage was hardly necessary when one already lived with and shared their life with another and yet, for Dorian himself, that very ceremony and those accompanying vows were desperately important. It was, perhaps, a reflection off his age to an extent. The Monarch born into a world where marriage was viewed as a matter of supreme significance and one he had always expected to undertake. Yet to marry someone of his choosing, a love marriage, had been the greatest privilege off his very existence and one he so hardly took lightly. Those vows meant a very great deal, both his religion and personal being deemed it so. The Fae King wholly aware that Sebastian so shared his values in this, the Englishman taking those vows with that same seriousness and commitment. Dorian assured he loved the man even more for that. His silver gaze so rarely wavering from his lover throughout that following party. He would surely never forget that music or dancing or the simple laughter and joy that seemed to fill that grand ballroom. Each one of their friends seeming to relish that evening with their own significant other or indeed- to merely enjoy that good food and wine themselves. There was something so very satisfying in seeing such a room of people before him. The family he had believed he would never have, those friends he had made without any assistance from any advisor that he need befriend the right people and indeed, that husband he had thought he might never find. Sebastian his very soulmate in every sense. How truly fortunate he was. How worth all those years of waiting it had been.

It was only once that reception so finally begun to come to an end that the Monarch at last took his lovers hand with that intention of retiring to their own apartments upstairs. He could hear those street parties still carrying on, many of them sure to continue into the early hours of the morning and yet Dorian paid them little heed as they slipped away from that noise and towards the welcomed peacefulness and simple calm off their own room. That entire floor near totally empty save for those guards at the stairs and yet, Dorian largely suspected that it was for their privacy alone that floor had been left free of even their usual staff so that they might enjoy those first few hours of married life alone. For all he had enjoyed of that glorious party and so meeting those new people Sebastian had introduced him too there was something utterly delightful in to quiet peace of that very room they had woken up in so much earlier this very evening. How far away such things seemed!

The Monarch paused easily within the doorway of their bedroom then, his hand still interwoven in his lovers own as his silver gaze lingered on the bedroom before them. The warmth from that burning fire and too the light of those flickering candles that caught softly in that faint breeze was nothing short of romantic in every sense. The sight of those rose petals that adorned the red and gold sheets prompting that warm simper to his lips and yet he could hardly deny that room certainly achieved that very 'encouragement' it had so been designed to coax from the pair. Even if, he was sure, he so hardly required that encouragement in any sense. Not when it came to Sebastian. Even after all this time, his husband was as entirely desirable to him as he had ever been. The vampires soft assurance that he rather liked that room all the same prompting that furthered grin from the Monarch himself.

"So do I."

He uttered simply, his hands easily finding Sebastian's waist in those moments that followed, closing that small distance between them to allow his lips to so finally find his companions own. That gentle brush of Sebastian's hand against his own jaw was entirely welcomed, Dorian deepening that kiss ever so slightly. How gloriously satisfying it was to so finally be alone with his husband! He pulled but gently back from that embrace, his arms lifting to wrap effortlessly about his lovers neck then as his own head tilted just slightly to press that singular teasing kiss to the man's neck. Those soft words uttered warmly against the vampires skin, coaxing that single sound of contentment from within him as Dorian leaned slightly back once more to meet his gaze. Sebastian so surely knew off his enjoyment of that wedding and yet Dorian so found himself determined to speak of its perfection all the same. The vampires insistence that every day with him was perfect so brought that chuckle to his lips and yet how such words might delight him all the same! That very warmth seeming to settle readily within his own chest as Sebastian's arms wrapped about him to tug him closer. The simple, perfect happiness he felt so surely prompting those very words the pair so rarely uttered aloud and yet- how decidedly he meant them in that moment. He had never, in all his life, loved anyone quite so much as he loved Sebastian. Until he had met the man he had never known such feelings could exist with such potency. That they could be so perfectly overwhelming. Sebastian's simple, absolute assurance that he would always love him only furthering those emotions within himself as he pressed all the closer to the man. How rarely they said those words and yet- how meaningful it was when they did.

His own gaze shifted back toward that bed in those moments that followed. A part of the Monarch unable to deny the amusement he took from seeing that room as a whole so arranged in such a fashion as to coax them toward that consummation, an act they had performed but countless times before and one the Monarch was sure needed near no assistance at all to inspire within them. Neither man was at all akin to a flighty, virgin girl whom waited with nervousness and growing trepidation to discover just what was expected of a her that very night, as a new wife, to fulfil those laws of both country and religion and assure that marriage was binding. How far less enjoyable such a thing might surely have been with an inexperienced girl. Dorian instead so commenting upon that very task at hand as Sebastian's chuckle once more filled that room. The vampire stepping from his embrace to take his hand and lead the way toward that bed Dorian was all-too eager to embrace. The Fae having near desperately desired his lovers touch for the entirety of that evening! How many times they had done such things before and yet how meaningful that first time as husbands surely was.

He stepped easily from his own shoes in those moments that followed and Sebastian so lent against the edge of the bed, the vampires fingers reaching for the buttons of that jacket as Dorian shifted just so as to help him remove it. The man's sudden assurance that he had looked breathtaking today in such a colour stirring that simper to his lips once more. Dorian glancing but briefly downward at that grey coloured attire that was wholly traditional for his country and station.

"Do you know, I was decidedly unsure about it? I think I quite forced that poor dressmaker to show me a hundred shades of grey before I settled on this one. You best admire it while you can, she will likely never work with me again I'm sure."

That warm chuckle echoed easily from his throat once more as that jacket was cast aside, the Monarch shifting now to help Sebastian in that removal off that grey waistcoat and the crisp white shirt and tie. That outfit had been rather comfortable truly and yet there was something far more satisfying in so finally being free of it. How glorious the heat from that fire felt against his bare chest and skin. Dorian rolling his shoulders almost reflexively in that new sensation of freedom and yet- it was hardly that warmth he desired to feel in any real sense. How decidedly handsome Sebastian looked in black! His words holding that note of impish tease.

"You look excellent in black Mon cher, I am almost remiss to have to take it off you- but alas, I fear I must."

His own hands reached upward then to help Sebastian free of that jacket and black vest in turn. That clothing tossed to the ground to join his own in that haphazard pile on the floor. He paused however, before reaching for that dress shirt, one hand lifted to press against his husbands chest, pushing him gently backward to encourage him to sit upon the edge of that bed. Dorian effortlessly straddling his lap in that moment. His fingers reached for the first button of that shirt then, Dorian's lips finding Sebastian's own once more in that wholly passionate kiss, his fingers steadily working their way down. How glorious the taste of him was! That soft sound of satisfaction already rising within his throat, his fingers adoring the feel of that toned, hard muscle beneath them, the Fae so hardly rushed in that exploration in any sense as that final button was undone. Dorian allowed the tip of his tongue to find the very tip of that favoured right fang and press firmly upon it- just enough to provide his lover with that all-too tempting taste of that singular drop of blood.

That kiss was broken but only briefly, Dorian leaning back just enough to assist the vampire in pushing that shirt from his shoulders before his lips eagerly returned to Sebastian's own, his hand lifted to allow his fingers to tangle within those brunette looks he adored so desperately. The monarch so finally rewarding them both with that exquisite feeling of skin on skin. Dorian's breath hitching ever so slightly at that all-to welcome sensation. God, how good it felt.....
