Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

He knew this would be a big step for Isolt. He almost didn't want her to go but he knew that he wouldn't leave for Italy without her. In fact, he'd wanted them both to skip the ceremony but Isolt wouldn't hear anything of it. He knew it might be considered rude but really, what's a missed wedding of gay fairies? So the one guy might be royal. What's that to him? Nothing really, but Isolt was everything and he was afraid it would be too overwhelming for her. After being kidnapped and held captive for so long, how would she do in a large mass of people? There might be witches and warlocks there. What if drama started? He wouldn't stop at anything to keep her safe so if they were smart, they wouldn't even look at her too long.

He felt a little better that she wouldn't release his hand for anything but still he worried. He looked into every face that got too close, causing a lot of the party to move aside and give them more room than necessary. He was sure at this point he might be able to cut someone's throat with just a look but he only hoped his stress level wouldn't make it happen without due cause. He'd hate to think how disappointed Isolt would be in him if that happened. He couldn't believe she wanted to go out in public so soon after her rescue. He felt she still needed to recover, no matter how much she said she was fine. He knew better.

Only when he felt her gaze did he turn his head away from glaring at others to meet her gaze, his face softening immediately as he squeezed her hand in reassurance. She leaned up to kiss his jaw and he smiled despite himself, reaching up to brush a strand of hair behind her ear lovingly before he leaned in to kiss her forehead protectively. There was nothing he wouldn't do for her. Her hand curled into his arm and he straightened up, pressing himself ever closer to her. His brows furrowed though as her own gaze averted and he could feel the apprehension in the air. He paused to raise her hand, brushing the back of it against his lips. "You are breathtaking, my Supreme and fiance. It would be a shame to hide such beauty from the world."

He waited with her until their turn came and stood by as she embraced Sebastian and kissed his cheek. He made a point of looking away when she did that, hoping to hide the jealousy springing to life in his eyes. He only looked back at them when he could re-compose his features and offer a polite smile. Finally she spoke to the fairy next to Sebastian, introducing them and Damon reached out his own hand. "Pleasure to meet you. Great ceremony. Congratulations." His gaze only then cut to Sebastian momentarily. "Sebastian." He nodded in greeting. It wasn't the most gallant greeting but it was better than nothing, right?
