Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

He knew she had faith in their connection. There was a time he could have never seen himself caring about a vampire, let alone falling in love with one and asking her to marry him. So many things had changed in so little time. He wondered what Sammy would say if he could see him now. What his dad would say. But he brushed those thoughts back as Amelia brought up wills, how they should both get one for Tenley's sake. He nodded in agreement, reaching out to kiss Amelia's hand. "You're not going anywhere, love, but you're right. We should meet with a lawyer and get it all set in stone so she's taken care of, no matter what." He would do anything for his family, including give his life. He knew Amelia would do the same. They would both jump in harm's way in an instant if something were to endanger Tenley so it only made sense to make sure she was taken care of, a safety precaution, nothing more.

He knew Amelia hadn't shown him everything when it came to her kinks in the bedroom. Over time they'd worked through most of them and she gained confidence every time, but when he asked about a locked door downstairs, he could feel the tension. She brushed it off, saying it was just an old storage room but he knew better. He just didn't push because he loved her and trusted her. He knew she would never keep something from him that would put him or Tenley in harm's way. So he let it go, figuring she would open up to him when she was ready. Sure, he was curious and he'd be lying if he didn't say he'd went to that door with a lock pick on more than one occasion, but he always seemed to talk himself out of it, thinking of how it would be a huge betrayal of her trust if he were to go in without her and if she caught him doing it. So each time he slunk back to her without opening the door. Then he made himself feel bad about even thinking about it for the next week or so. It was a bad cycle.

He focused on his burger and when it was done to perfection, he took a bite. Her laugh made him grin as he finished chewing and swallowed, then he shook his head. "Nothing could ever be that good, darling. Don't worry." He said with a wink as he took another bite. He glanced toward her as she moved around the kitchen, grabbing for some blood to replenish herself too. As she took a sip, she groaned and he raised a brow, wondering if she was mimicking him in a sense. Then she looked up and confirmed his suspicions by asking if he was jealous yet. He laughed and moved up behind her, riddling her neck with kisses and nipping lightly at that perfect place where neck meets shoulder. "Always, baby. I'll always be jealous when you're not groaning because of me." He took another bite of the burger, finishing it off with three big bites just like always. He was always a big eater. As he washed the grease from his hands and cleaned the dishes he used, he turned back to her and held out his arm.

"Now that we're both satisfied diet and otherwise.....shall we?" He smirked.
