Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

The stars in their orbits

"Of course you do." Nadya murmured at Tobias' comment about stabbing people and thinking it's funny. She left him to his own devices once she had confiscated his fork and knife leaving him with just a spoon and put some of the food on his plate for him. He'd have to figure out how to use the spoon to accomplish eating or what was more likely was just using his hands. Nadya just couldn't watch as Tobias inhaled his food with no regard to how he appeared like a wild animal. Her patience wouldn't last long enough into the conversation to try and get him to behave and try to use the spoon. Tonight was not the night to ruin Isolt's dinner with their difficult pack interactions. Her lips pursed at her brother's near slip of his activities with Risque, the horrors that she had him commit. Instead of comment she held her plate out to Tetradore for some of the turkey. "White meat please." Nadya offered her big brother a simper of a smile and set her plate back down in front of her once served.

"See? If you're good Tobias then Santa Claus will bring you presents and candy. If you're bad he brings you lumps of coal." There was no way the young panther was going to let go of this chance to get an upper hand on Tobias' behavior. When dealing with a man child it was best to take every bit of help you could. "Do you think you've been good all year to get presents?" Nadya smirked as she nibbled on a bread roll and eyed her companion. His answer was only briefly met with her attention and even his own as Tobias was quick to turn to Tetradore realizing their Alpha still had meat on his place that Tobias desperately wanted and tried to barter. Nadya rolled her eyes but at least was distracted from the horribly one sided trade by Isolt's sudden comment. "Oh...thank you." Her chocolate eyes slid over to glance at the sweet potatoes. Mostly in due respect Nadya shoveled a bit to join the mishmash on her plate already.

The topic of the babies was a difficult one, straining the seams of their pack until near collapse, so Nadya felt a bit awkward discussing them. Sure she had accepted the consequences of her action but the last encounter with Tetradore had been a thorough emotional...trauma. Feeling like she had lost her brother and he now hated her was traumatizing. Nadya avoided looking over at the boys and focused her entire attention on Isolt as nervousness seeped into her. "I haven't thought about it, no, all I know is one is a boy and the other is a girl. At least being different means they won't be able to pull any sneaky tricks like identical twins." She shrugged slightly and took a few more bites of the meal in front of her. It was truly delicious and for a moment felt bad that the vampire woman couldn't enjoy it like she used to; instead sitting there with a drink while the trio gorged themselves. "How do you know so much about babies?" It had actually never dawned on her that vampires might have had jobs before they were turned so was truthfully curious how Isolt had known about the sweet potatoes. Nadya herself knew very little when it came to the twins so was a willing student for the information or advice Isolt could give her.
