Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

His emerald green wings shone like diamonds in the sunlight as he flapped them on a few strong beats, enough to lift him into the air and onto Andras' trail. He hadn't really seen his leader since their less than smooth meeting in the other dimension. He didn't know what Andras had been up to or who with but none of that mattered. Troy was loyal to a fault and if something was important enough to get Andras up in the air, he wouldn't hesitate to join the fight, if that's what was called for. He could practically sense Andras' worry from his place on the ground. Up in the heavens, it was so palpable he could almost touch it. Andras must have heard him flying to catch up cause the next thing Troy knew, he was turning on him, all snarls and a look of pure hatred in his eyes. Troy hesitated. "Whoa, man. It's just me." He waited for Andras to recognize him, his wings keeping him aloft. Finally the look faded, but not completely.

Andras shook his head and said something. Troy caught the name "Lani." Of course, that meant nothing to him but he could tell it sure as hell meant something to Andras. Troy's eyes filled with sympathy to see the pain in Andras' features as he said he made a mistake. When he mentioned someone doing a ritual, Troy gasped. He could only mean one ritual if he said it like that. Troy's eyes narrowed. "No, they can't." He crossed his arms in determination, his gaze turning to the stone of a killer. "We won't let them." As Andras turned, Troy flapped his wings, hurrying to keep up with him. Even as Andras asked, Troy was already nodding. "Of course. I'm with you, Andras." He kept pace with Andras' hurried pace, knowing time was truly of the essence here. He scanned the ground, though of course he felt helpless cause he didn't really know what he was looking for. He glanced back up at Andras, his expression almost sheepish. "Uh...so any clues as to what I should be looking for? A description of anyone?"

He almost hated to ask, knowing Andras was probably stressed out of his mind and the last thing he'd want was to answer questions. But Troy couldn't think of any other way to help him. He needed more information. Suddenly, Andras shifted and dove down. Troy followed, landing softly behind him though he raced right behind the other fairy as Andras headed for a car. There was something in his gaze that made Troy tense up, ready for a battle. So they had to be close. Andras tore the door off the car like it was nothing and Troy shifted aside as it flew past his head. Andras seemed to be sniffing for clues so Troy allowed him to work, his own gaze sweeping the surroundings, ready to jump to his leader's aide if it was called for. When Andras moved away from the car, Troy turned his gaze back to him, his expression sympathetic. "Find anything?" But he could see Andras was distracted, following the scent of something.

When Troy sniffed, he could pick up the tang of fear, a female's fear. Was this the Lani Andras was talking about? He raised a brow as he followed Andras' trail with his gaze, waiting for his leader's next move. The trail seemed to end abruptly, which could only mean a vehicle of some sort. He scowled. Andras closed his eyes and Troy was about to ask what he was doing but he could sense the concentration going on behind those lids in the sudden ripple of Andras' forehead. He was doing something, using his powers, reaching out somehow. So Troy went back to sweeping the area, protecting Andras while he did what he had to do. Suddenly, he felt a gust of wind meaning Andras had taken off into the sky. Sighing, he spread his own wings and flapped hard, sending himself shooting up after Andras. Andras seemed to be flying in a certain pattern, and he was definitely still concentrating. Troy took up a flight path right over him so he could see in all directions and be able to divert anything that got in their way.

Suddenly Andras stopped flying and as he dropped in the air, Troy reached out to grab for the back of his shirt, anything to stop his descent. "Whoa there!" Luckily, Andras stopped himself, his wings spreading out to grab himself so Troy allowed himself to exhale in relief. He stayed beside Andras, letting him concentrate, and just when he thought they might stay there forever, Andras suddenly veered off course and headed for...a farm? But Troy narrowed his gaze. It was the perfect cover. Desolate and out of the way. He landed right beside Andras, his gaze narrowed in determination before he looked to Andras and nodded. "Let's get your girl, bro."
