Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Wake up to your dreams
And watch them come true

With Frost's assurance on the newcomer it meant Nadya could let her guard down, truly relax and completely enjoy her fellow packmates return. Nadya raised a brow slightly, glancing out the corner of her eye at Frost when he offered for Malia to show Abigail around later though. She was curious if he had an ulterior motive other than just allowing Malia a friend. Either way it was something she didn't comment on and settled her attention back on Scarlett. The twins did make it a bit difficult and weren't satisfied until they had their gifts in hand and plopped happily down on the ground after Nadya had laid down the rules. Everyone's attention was on Scarlett when she retold of her voyaje and Nadya was happy to offer a suggestion for the pack to go. A simper crossed her features seeing Frost's reluctant allowance for such a journey. Nadya thought it would be good for them to go somewhere fun as a pack considering Malia's standoffish behavior. They would need a time to bond if they were going to be strong. "It's not a collar, it's a necklace, it's jewelry just like my present. If it's long enough then you can wear a lower shirt with it and it can draw attention down for a certain someone." It was a light tease to Malia in hopes to settle her about the gift. "We can go shopping for some outfits if you want."

Nadya didn't move from her place when Izzy finally decided to acknowledge Abigail and wander over to her. She did note the red-heads immediate tension at her daughter's innocent questions. That was certainly curious. Nadya was about to move to gather Izzy before Frost beat her to it, crouching beside the 3 year old to address her concerns. Izzy's attention glanced between Abigail and Frost as he spoke. Even if they couldn't speak very well, the twins responded well to level and even logical explanations. Izzy willingly took Frost's offered hand to be led away from Abigail back to the couch where her mother and Scarlett were. She hadn't thought of a name for the plushie so when the question was reiterated by Scarlett she was forced to come up with one on the spot. Her gaze considered the toy momentarily before declaring, "Squishy." And that was that.

Micah was less sure about the question and simply stared at his plushie. "You can decide later." Nadya smiled softly at her quiet son, bending down to scoop him up onto her hip as she rose from the couch. "There are some ribs we could make." She glanced towards Abigail, "we also have non-meat food if that's your thing too. We have some snacks too if you want something to nibble on while it cooks." As the others did, she extended that invitation for the woman to stick around if she wanted to. If Frost wanted Abigail around then it was her job to facilitate that. "Scarlett, could you help me with the food?" Nadya nodded her head as she led the way into the kitchen with Izzy at her heels. Whenever there was food the twins were sure to be a part of it.

Nadya put the twins into their highchairs and tossed a couple crackers onto the trays before turning her attention to the adult's food. She pulled a vegetable and cracker and cheese tray out of the fridge and placed it on the island counter should anyone want to snack. Once that was set up she threw the marinated ribs on to the stove grill. Nadya pointed to the fridge from where she stood in front of the stove to direct Scarlett. "There's some cob corn and fixings for a cranberry salad in the fridge." It had taken some getting used to being the main one fixing meals; adults require more planning than tossing a peanut butter and jelly sandwich at. It was something she had grown up watching her mother busy herself over and never once thought she would be on the other side of it.
