Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

He knew there would be plenty of time for talking about his powers once they'd both recharged and rested. He kissed her head and pulled her close before drifting off himself. He hadn't expected Tenley to be crawling this quickly either but he knew with her being a born vampire, she was bound to be different than most babies. She might mature faster, but he didn't think she would age past adulthood. After all, both her parents were immortal and stuck at their current age. Fae aged like humans until they reached adulthood then they stopped aging. His daughter had to be like that. At least that's what he would keep telling himself.

Tenley crawled to him in no time and he laughed as she reached for his hands. He closed his larger fingers around her tiny ones, letting her hold onto him as she slowly pulled herself to her feet. He gasped in awe, his eyes twinkling with glee as he turned his head to glance at Amelia, beaming in pride. "Look what our daughter can do, love." He slowly turned back to Tenley. "She's amazing." He murmured breathlessly. Amelia got out of bed and came over to lay her head on his shoulder. Smiling affectionately, he kissed her head and nuzzled his nose in her hair. "You smell delicious, darling." He mumbled into her hair. Then he looked up as he heard the nanny's voice calling. His lips tugged into a smirk as she came running. He lifted a brow and listened as she apologized.

Amelia told her that Tenley had crawled and that baby gates were going to be needed around the house. He grinned and nodded. "I second that." He only had pride in his voice though as he looked back at Tenley. The nanny came and picked her up and Troy was almost disappointed as she let go of his hands to go for the bottle the nanny had for her. He sighed and stepped back. "Thank you, Missy." He mumured, but he only had eyes for Tenley as they turned to leave. He turned to Amelia with a smile. "More than. She can start going to the park and stuff soon. I can't wait." He watched with ample appreciation as Amelia went into the bathroom. He tilted his head, getting a good angle on her backside. He could hear the water running soon enough and he licked his lips, already imagining her naked in there. His body was at attention, now.

But at her voice, his body tensed in a new way, a wave of anger rolling over him. His eyes narrowed for a second before he came into the bathroom so he could see her wound. He reached out, gently running his fingers over the scarred tissue. "Then I'll question them. Find out why and who they're working for." Her next words terrified him. He swore his heart stopped for a minute and his face set in stone. "Then we'll take more precautions." He just had to figure out what kind. He refused to make his daughter a prisoner just because of the miracle that she was. And yet he'd never forgive himself if anything happened to her or Amelia.
