Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

sharp objects make me giddy

The moment is lost as quickly as it begun, our fall into ecstacy and bliss leaving me muddled and useless against the wall for a minute or two. My legs feel like jello and I feel like I could sleep for weeks and at the same time, run a marathon. As he moves back from me, I'm grateful for the fact he seems to remember to keep his arms around me as if knowing I won't be able to stand at first as I unwrap my legs from his torso and drop to the ground. I don't feel nearly as graceful as I usually am but after a minute or so, I start to get feeling back in my trembling legs.

As he starts to look around, I do too, my mind in a haze still as I see the attendent staring with his jaw about touching the ground and at first I can't think as to why before my cheeks flush and embarassment and clarity reach my brain. Oh god, I'm naked. Well, mostly. My shirt is ripped down the middle so I think that hardly counts and my bra is as good as junk. As for my pants? Well, all I have to do is pull them up, I think.

He starts to pull up his own jeans and I follow suit, completely forgetting that I may have ripped his button off in the histeria of making him lose his clothes. As he hands his shirt to me, I snatch it vigorously, not meaning to be rude about it but the embarassment is killing me. Only once my jeans are snapped and his shirt is safely about my shoulders do I feel some sort of composure setting in. I didn't even think to thank him but now I can't seem to find my voice.

I try to form words but as if trying out the role of my savior, he pulls me against him suddenly and before I can react, his lips are pressed to mine and he's even smiling. How can he smile in a situation like this? His words leave me breathless all over again as I stare into his eyes, trying to search his face for any hint of regret but finding none. Finally I find my own lips tugging into a smile too as I shake my head in answer.

"No. No regrets."

I say in a breathless whisper.

At his offer to go home, I don't even stop to think which home he's referring to since I seem to be at his house more than the other way around anyway. Instead I just nod as if in a numb state, my eyes not daring to look back at the attendent probably still trying to oogle at us. I take a few steps before I suddenly pause, a scowl on my lips as I look at him.

"Um..how are we getting there? Your car..."

I nod again toward the roasted vehicle that somehow got us here. I don't know how much further it'll make it.
