Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

She was sure he was getting a huge crack out of waiting for her to climb onto his back. It wasn't nearly as easy as they made it look in those wild west movies. Of course, none of the horses seemed quite as big as Frost, either. She knew it was probably dumb to test the waters, so to speak, by pressing on his back, but that's what all the cowboys did before getting on so it had to be for a reason, right? When she told him it was easier said than done, she all but felt him chuckling as she threw herself onto his back. "Not making it any easier." She mumbled, knowing he could hear her. He told her she wasn't the most dignified and she huffed as she tried to straighten up. "Well, no one told me I was getting judged on precision, here."

After some more minor struggling, however, she finally managed to sit up and really work on balancing on his back. He told her well done and she smirked, feeling quite proud of herself. She knew Frost gave out small things of praise every so often and she enjoyed it every time she got to be on the other end of it. As he moved forward, it was a whole new sensation she had to get used to. It wasn't uncomfortable or anything, just different. She could feel every movement of the muscles beneath her. She felt the vibration of Frost's amusement and smirked. "Yeah, yeah, laugh it up, Rudolph." She muttered good naturedly. She was already smiling though, already starting to have fun. She listened to his instructions the best way she could, wanting to get the hang of this.

He told her that she was better than Nadya and her eyes widened in surprise. She just had a feeling Nadya was good at everything she tried. When he told her that Nadya fell off, she couldn't stop the sudden laughter. "Oh boy, that does make me feel better. I thought cats had good balance." She grinned despite herself, feeling a whole new sense of pride. When he warned her about trotting, she felt her nerves come back but thankfully she only felt a slight jarring before he was into a smoother gait. He told her to think of it as a rocking chair and just go with the rhythm. She smiled, thinking of when she danced and how she just let the music take her wherever it wanted to go. Maybe like that? She closed her eyes, feeling through her legs how he was moving.

From there, it became easier to let her body move with his motion instead of trying to move of her own accord. Once she re-opened her eyes, she had a new rhythm that went along with his own. "Just like dancing...but on someone's back." She said with a laugh. She let the exhileration of the ride take over, enjoying herself right up until she caught a scent of a Dark Hunter and remembered why she was on a horse to begin with. Frost slowed down as her eyes focused, sweeping the park as her nose twitched, reading that scent. He agreed that he smelled it too and she felt herself tense up, ready for action. As Frost walked forward, she kept looking around, right up until she saw movement in the trees up ahead. Her eyes narrowed as the man leapt from the tree and started walking away from them. He didn't even seem to know they were there. Her lips curled into a predatory grin.

The moment she heard Frost's words, she was off. She knew better than to try something so grand as leaping from his back onto the Hunter. While that would have been epic, most liekly she would have slipped or stumbled and fell on her face, giving up their element of surprise. So instead she leapt from his back now while he was walking, racing up behind the guy, as light on her feet as possible to prevent him hearing until she was launching herself at him, aiming to tackle him to the ground right then and there. She would aim to kick the bow away from him so he couldn't use it and try to pin him to the ground, already semi-shifting so that she could snarl with fangs in his face to futher intimidate and keep him to the ground.
