Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Wake up to your dreams
And watch them come true

In Nadya's search for Frost as she waited beside Izzy for her turn at the pony ride, she spotted her mate grazing at one of the food tables she had had set up. It was no surprise he had found a pocket for himself away from the chaos. She wouldn't have pressured any of her pack to participate as at times it was even overwhelming her for. This extravagant party for the twins alone and perhaps a way to ease the guilt at having not been in the right state of mind to do much of anything for their birthday the last few years. When one of the other mothers approached Frost was when Izzy shook her back to the pony ride, insisting to be watched as it was now her turn. Nadya was hardly concerned about the woman speaking to Frost, not only did she trust Frost but it was just how that woman was.

Luckily for Frost he managed to escape and appeared at her side with Micah in tow. Nadya reached down to gently muse with her son's hair. It was getting long and needed to be cut but she hadn't the heart to see those locks disappear. Nadya smirked slightly, briefly casting a glance to the bypassed woman back at the table. "Yeah, she's been somewhat of a cruiser since. Her husband was a lawyer and the man's only fault was being a workaholic. She took Logan to Disneyworld with the divorce money to celebrate." Nadya rolled her eyes and shrugged, seeing no fault in a man who was at least kind to his family...everyone had their vices and his had just been his job. "I'd admit defeat with that table...we'll do cake soon."

Micah glanced up at the mention of cake but then too eyes widening at the mention of a pony. "Cake and pony?" To him the creatures were more than intimidating but the cake sounded great. Nadya glanced between Frost and her son. "Where is it going to go? I'm not going to be shoveling any poop." As the mother of young children, any pet they acquired she knew it would be her taking care of it instead- this a responsibility she didn't want to take on.

The matter wasn't helped any further by Scarlett bounding up, declaring she wanted a pony. Nadya rolled her eyes though the warm smirk on her face indicated she found amusement in her packmates antics. "Oh no, no llama." She had been skeptical on the petting zoo guy bringing that llama in the first place. A quick hardened glance was given to that foraging animal. It seemed the predators in the pack were having less than an ideal time with that creature. Izzy's cry of delight as she went around the little ring, calling out to her pack and waving madly drew Nadya's attention. Nadya waved to Izzy but caught the movement of Malia within the house in the background.

While Scarlett was occupying Micah, Nadya looked to Frost. "Could you take some food to Malia?" She knew how overwhelmed her packmate could get with groups, more sensitive from her near lifetime in animal form, so didn't hold it against her sticking to the safety of the pack home- which Nadya had made off limits to ensure her packmates comfort. Either case she wanted to ensure Malia at least got some of the spoils of a party. "Let her know we'll be doing the cake soon and can bring her some then."

Despite Scarlett's long absence from the pack, his earlier memories of her were intact enough to know she was safe. That and she gave him presents. A small smile spread across his features when Scarlett bent down to his level. So few adults did that. He nodded in agreement, "There's a lot of presents. Mama said Izzy and I have to share." He motioned to the designated present table which was well stocked with colorfully wrapped presents of all sizes. Although his mother's warning was mostly to Izzy to share with her brother he had taken it as a rule for the both of them.
