Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Wake up to your dreams
And watch them come true

The sudden burst of tears from Edie at the mention of Frost took Nadya by surprise. Though with a husband missing and all those pregnancy hormones it shouldn't have. Nadya could only purse her lips. She couldn't speak for Frost in anything regarding the pack hierarchy. She was his mate but was happy not to have an official title. Beta had been more of a need for safety for her twins when she was in her brother's pack. When she moved to Frost's pack there was no sense for need as all the other members were no threat to her children.

In order to steer the conversation and be more productive, Nadya stood and announced the need for Edie to eat before they went to see the doctor. She didn't wait for an answer since there wouldn't be any arguing about it anyways. She simply went about rummaging together what she could that held the most nutritional value for a pregnant woman. If Frost agreed to allow Edie to stay Nadya was going to have to go to the market. She pushed those plate across to Edie despite the woman's crinkled face. "Yes, I know very well you're a carnivore. It's not like I have leftover filet mignon sitting around." Nadya rolled her eyes. She watched as Edie practically choked everything down besides the berries, pushing those away declaring she didn't like them. Nadya pursed her lips, "You're going to have to learn to like them. They're good for you right now."

Still, she put the berries back in the fridge knowing full well that Frost would eat them. He would have probably been ruffled had he returned and them not be there in the first place. Perhaps it was for the better. "Well, sushi isn't great because it's raw, but salmon in moderation is actually good for you. You shouldn't eat red meat either...it's really just safer to stick with chicken. Oh...and no coffee." The coffee was the hardest part for her when she was pregnant. That part she definitely remember. "Let me call the twin's sitter and we can drop them off on the way to the doctors."

Nadya saw to it that Edie was resting back on the couch again before going upstairs to ready the twins. It wasn't really trouble to get them to leave the house; the trouble was usually getting Izzy to want to leave wherever it was to come back home. It only took a few minutes to get the pair ready before Nadya was herding them all out the door and into her matte black BMW waiting in the driveway. Micah continued his silence during the car ride though bobbed his head and sometimes clapped to the toddler music Nadya put on for them. Izzy however was the one singing and jamming up a shark. What a great example Edie had of what parent life looked like in that moment. It didn't matter how fancy your life...there would always be kid's music.

Thankfully the sitter met them outside so all that Nadya had to do was unbuckle the twins, hug and kiss them goodbye and wave them off as the sitter walked back into her house. The moment Nadya was back in the car, off went the kid's music and on went hers. She didn't press Edie for any information on her travels. She didn't want the woman bubbling over again talking about Kato. No, the non-conversation ride was just fine.

"Here we are." Nadya pulled into the parking lot of the doctor's office. She waited for Edie to exit the car before leading her into the private practice waiting room. There were only 3 other women in the room at that time which meant the wait would hopefully be relatively short. "I'll get the forms, you sit." She motioned for Edie to take a seat as she went up to the window to explain the situation and get the forms. Nadya returned with the clipboard and handed it over to Edie. "Just fill these out as best you can. I already told Sharon to have the bill sent to the house so just leave the insurance part blank." Paying for Edie's visit was hardly a matter to stress over. Nadya settled in the spot next to Edie in wait for her to finish the forms.
