Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Coming Unglued

He could tell that he'd gotten the words right by the look in her eyes. He'd noticed Tenley's penchant for choosing red dresses and shirts over other colors and he liked the way Amelia was looking at his lips right now. That right there made it all worth it, especially when she bit down on that bottom lip. He literally growled, his zipper feeling ready to break open at this point. "Darling, you know what biting your lip does to me..." He warned her.

Of course, he was okay with a small wedding. Tenley's protection meant more to him than anything. As she moved against his chest, he wrapped his arms around her, letting out a contented sigh. This always felt right. She grounded him in a way nothing else ever did. When she looked up at him, he hated the worry he saw in her eyes. His hand came up, fingers trailing softly across her lips as his brows furrowed. At her words, he smiled. "When she's older, it'll be easier. She'll look just like any other vampire that got turned. She'll just have to be careful who she tells the truth to." He caressed her cheek, hoping to reassure her. He wanted the world for Tenley just like she did.

She thanked him for participating and his smile turned into a more mischeveous grin. "I'd do anything for you, baby." As she leaned in, he felt her body against him everywhere and he groaned unable to help himself. At her question whispered in his ear, he felt a shudder of anticipation. His eyes twinkled. "How about that secret room you've been meaning to show me?"
