Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

He was glad to see Andras. He only hoped that he had good news about the change Troy allowed to happen. It was dark fae magic to turn a human, especially against their will, which he could only assume is what happened to Lani since she was kidnapped. Then she was left to die on that table when they found her. He didn't know why Andras had chosen now to seek him out but he wouldn't question his friend's motives. Andras was that, a friend, and he was welcome at their home. He knew about Amelia and Tenley and though they hadn't met him yet, Troy was sure Amelia would come to see he was a good man, even if he knew she would be protective of Tenley just as he was. It was their nature as parents.

As he stepped closer to Andras, he could see that the other fae was tired. His brow furrowed a little in concern, wishing he could help in some way. He knew that Andras was hoping to take Amelia and Tenley to Somnia at some point and he was sure the fae had his concerns about bringing not one but two vampires into a world where a fae city survived and thrived. It would have to be in small steps, he was sure. Amelia's control was iron-clad but Tenley was still a growing child with a slowly maturing mind. She was growing too fast for his own fatherly standards but she was super smart and Amelia was working with her tirelessly on her own control when it came to blood. She no longer made gestures to bite Troy or even look at him funny. She was coming along very well, he felt.

She'd done good with Dorian and Sebastian at the house, even talking to them and making some conversation. It was good steps. Then he asked Andras about Lani and he knew before the other fae even spoke that it wasn't good. Andras' hair was a bird's nest from running his hands through it and his smile disappeared as he said that she left. Troy scowled and sighed. "I'm sorry, Andras." It was all he could think to say. He knew he couldn't change what happened but he wish he had some other words of comfort for his friend. Then Andras went on to explain that he felt he had a glamour put on him cause of the pull he felt to her and how angry she got with him. He thought she was his mate. Troy listened carefully, only wanting to support him.

Apparently she left and Andras had tried to find her but she didn't want to be found. There was nothing more to be said about that. Troy only gave him a sympathetic smile, sorry that there hadn't been more he could do. Andras said that he'd come to thank him for going with him. As andras clasped his shoulder, he smiled a little. "I could tell she meant a lot to you. I'd do it again in a heartbeat." When Andras brought up Somnia, he nodded, glancing back toward the door. "I've brought it up to Amelia, though of course she's hesitant, mostly cause of her worry over Tenley's safety. We might have to start slow with visits." He glanced toward the sky. "They should be waking up soon. Would you like to come inside to meet them?"
