Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

kissing death and loosing my breath
Despite the perhaps peculiarity of it, Serafina had hardly been dissuaded from the Dark Hunter's presence, regardless of the great lengths that he went through to ensure that his exterior was as antagonistic as humanly possible. Such aloof, combative demeanor reminded her far too much of her youth. What seemed like a lifetime ago had been spent on the cold, inhospitable streets of Sacrosanct surrounded by the same acrimonious personalities. It seemed perhaps only natural to her that she should gravitate to these same individuals. After all - befriending the worst of them had always kept the young, pretty girl alive and fed when she had nothing else to give. Gingerly Serafina interlaced his fingers with his own, her other hand placed upon his shoulder in the same fashion she'd been taught to do. The witch could feel his touch upon her slender waist, the weight of his hand sending butterflies to her chest and a warmth throughout her entire figure. The girl allowed him to lead her sweeping across her living room floor, spinning her with such ease that even Serafina recognized the reflex of it for the man across from her. It made her curious - made her wonder how old he really was but the young witch knew far better to ask. He would continue on his life for many decades, seeing times change over and over while her days where entirely numbered. It was quite dejecting to consider.

Thankfully for the female, his baritone voice coaxed the young woman from her somber thoughts and weakly she returned his simper, her cranium bobbing ever so slightly in the gesture. "You are far better then most men, I think." She spoke softly as he pulled her back into his embrace. Despite their close proximity, Serafina was none-the-less painfully aware of the certain rigidness to his figure. It was almost as if he somehow still expected the young witch to make some effort to become all those monstrosities that he killed over and over again. She supposed she couldn't fault him though, after all the stories of what they were, of what they had done had been the equivalent to her boogie man - at least when she finally tipped the brink from mere mortal to magical witch. It was engrained within all of them, even if the hunts were not particularly as vigilant as they once were. Serafina hardly protested as he stepped away from her, the song from the small device softly coming to a sweet ending. For what felt like a very long moment indeed, the woman stood silently within her spot, her grey tinged gaze watching the man in front of her with a hint of puzzlement. She could feel the weight of his eyes upon her, even as they stood apart from each other and slowly the girl shook her head - once again giving up on her efforts to figure out the man in front of her.

"I think I would have liked to have seen that." Serafina responded to his comment in a rather prompt fashion - entirely willing to dwell over her accursed thoughts at a later point in time if only to enjoy this simple moment with the man who had, up to this point, been entirely content to push her away. Her head cocked to the side, her eyebrows furrowing ever so slightly as she listened to the words he spoke. A small frown crossed her sweet heart lips at his admittance to her uncanny likeness to someone he once knew and slowly the pieces began to fall into place for the young witch. "Oh." She replied simply, her eyebrows furrowing ever so slightly. So that was why he had been so willing to put up with her. That was why he kept returning to her. Because she reminded him of someone he had once loved. She had been stupid to think otherwise. A soft sigh left the young girl's lips as her head shook ever so slightly, her ebony locks shifting with the motion. "No...thank you...for this, though." She commented, for once being the one of the pair to distance herself from her surroundings and the man that stood within her living room. "I wish you have a Merry Christmas, Azzy." She added through, forcing a simper upon her fair features.
