Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

He hated how little time they got to spend with each other now that they'd gone back to reality and their jobs. He knew how important that bistro was to her so he did well to keep his distance and let her enjoy it, only stopping by briefly to place a swift kiss on her cheek or a few words of encouragement, even grabbing a coffee or a bagel for the road just so he could "tip" his waitress and steal another kiss while he slipped the money into her apron before running out the door before she could make him take it back. It always seemed to bring a smile to her face and he'd never tire of that. She was something special and he wanted this to last more than anything. He lived for those brief moments. He would often replay that smile throughout his mind the rest of the day until he got to see it again.

He knew she probably had to be pretty lonely at that big house all by herself with Townsend still out of town but he was thankful she had Reginald and Rose there. At least he never had to worry about her safety. He knew those two wouldn't hesitate to put an intruder in their place. They would do anything for Adelaide. He often stared out his window at night, wondering if he should do one last drive by to see if her lights were out or even knock on the door to see if she wanted company, but he usually talked himself out of it, not wanting her to think he found her incapable of being alone or that she needed saving. He knew quite the opposite. Still, his arms ached to hold her at night and his lips ached for her kiss. He found it harder to sleep at night alone in his own bed unless he was just bone tired from a long day in the garage.

He wondered how much longer Townsend was going to be gone and thought about asking Adelaide while he was there for breakfast. It might be good to know how much longer he had to get that mile long to-do list done. He'd made quite a dent on it though and felt confident that the work he'd put in was up to par. But still, this was Townsend and he still aimed to please the man, if only to ensure he got to stay in Adelaide's life as long as possible. His heart was already racing a little as he pulled into the driveway. Just the idea of seeing her again made him excited and nervous all over again. He was happy Reginald was there to greet him, offering the dog a biscuit as he rubbed him in his favorite spot behind his ears. Rose, of course, stayed where she was but he still push a biscuit toward her on the floor for her to get at her own leisure. That is, unless Reginald beat her to it.

He was quickly distracted, though, when he saw Adelaide's outfit. Sure, he already knew quite well what lay underneath but he would never get enough of what her body did to him. Such an outfit left little to the imagination and since he didn't even need imagination to know, that only made it worse (and his jeans that much more uncomfortable, suddenly). She only turned to purr back at him as his eyes hungrily roamed over her silhouette, drinking her in like a parched man. His lips quirked as she commented on how she often wore less around him. He slowly shook his head. "I don't think I'll ever get used to anything about you. And I wouldn't want it any other way." His gaze found hers, his own shining with warmth and tenderness as he smiled.

He watched as she moved about the kitchen, obviously confident in this space as she leaned up to get things out of cupboards. A groan left his lips before he could stop it as she reached up particularly high, giving a tiny glimpse of the bottom of that perfect ass he loved. He shifted in his seat, reaching down to adjust his jeans and hoping she didn't notice as she fixed their plates. At her questions, he arched a brow. "Well, for one, such a distracting view is not good for the working man's soul, darling. It leaves him more likely to sweat for other, just as strenuous activities." His eyes twinkled with mischief as he watched her. "A working man must be well fed before he can...perform to the boss's standards. Don't you agree?" He tilted his head a little as she placed the plate in front of him and gave him a chaste kiss on the cheek.

His lips quirked at the domestic move, watching as she moved around to sit beside him. Only then, did he lift his fork to dig into the delicious meal set before him. At her sudden words hinting at something, his fork paused in its travel to his mouth, his brow arching again as he turned toward her. "Oh?" He asked expectantly. Then she continued, saying that the yard work could wait and she had the day off. He smirked, already knowing where this was going. As her hand slid up his leg, he sucked in a sharp breath, his eyes darkening with renewed fervor as he leaned in, his own hands traveling from her legs up her delicious hips and waist, even taking his time to let his fingers glide over the outer edges of her breasts before he settled them on her shoulders as he spoke.

"I like the way you think, sweetheart. The yard's certainly not going anywhere and I find my hunger might not be sated by this wholesome meal you've laid out for me. Though make no mistake, I intend to clean my plate, cause I have a feeling I'll need the protein for my...morning activities." He leaned in to nuzzle his nose against hers in an eskimo kiss before drawing back to gobble up another few bites of his food. The electricity between them was sizzling, though, his body already on high alert just at her close proximity now that he knew the promise of things to come. He couldn't wait to put his hands on all the things he knew lay just under that thin lace fabric that clung to her petite body.
