Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Ashes to Ashes

Tonight was turning out better than she had thought. Anna was delighted to have her pet to play with and as she followed the furry creature up the rope structure she couldn't stop smiling. Maybe now her pet wouldn't run off, having seen the fun they could have and with a sparkly new collar Anna was sure she'd stick around now. Those sapphire eyes looked at the panda quizzically as it perched at the opening of one of the slides, obviously requesting a push down. Could the creature manage that on her own? Would she stay at the bottom once there? Anna had to trust on this one and gave her pet a little push.

As soon as Lady descended the slide Anna was quick to follow. The cold metal and darkness pressing in hardly lasting a few seconds but it never got old. Anna eyed the panda for a moment to ensure she was ok from the less than gentle landing she had taken. Once she was sure everything was ok she hurried over to the swings only to beckon Lady over with a pat to her lap. "It'll be fun, you'll see." She could tell the hesitation in that waddle over but was glad Lady was giving it a shot. The clumsy leap was unanticipated and the dig of the creature's nails into her skin caused Anna to flash her fangs in a soft hiss. However, instead of lashing out at Lady she quickly yanked the panda up onto her lap. "You silly creature."

Obviously Lady couldn't hold on very well which meant Anna had to hold the swing chain with one hand and her pet with the other as she began to kick back and forth. It was a little awkward at first, not used to having to hold something with one hand but Anna figured it out rather quickly. She tilted back slightly as they got higher and higher, angling so you could clearly see the star filled sky as they swung upward. How she loved that night sky. Higher and higher they swung until the swing could go no higher, the chain slacking at that peak to give a feeling of free falling for a second before snapping back to catch you on the way down. "Ready?" Well, rather Lady was ready or not was rather irrelevant since Anna wasn't going to stop anyways. At the next swing forward, when they reached that peak, Anna jumped from that swing for a true free fall to the ground below.

Of course she still held firmly to her pet for the trick. Nothing tonight was about harming, simply having fun in the only other way Anna knew how. Anna landed neatly in the sand though allowed herself to drop and roll to her back the ground with another peal of laughter, quite near smothering Lady in a hug. "You're my best friend, Lady."
