Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Wake up to your dreams
And watch them come true

The preparation for the holidays had been a whirlwind. Between shopping for the twins and the rest of the pack and so even spending that quality time with Frost again, she had forgotten about their conversation of her brother. Nadya couldn't even remember what had brought about the topic in the first place but Frost had insisted that her brother had mentioned wanting family gatherings. That was some time ago and Nadya was sceptical of it all the same, sure that Frost had misunderstood. It had taken some time before Nadya accepted the proposal and allowed Frost to invite her brother for the Christmas Eve dinner.

Frost's announcement that it was her brother at the door caused Nadya to pause. In all honesty she had figured he wouldn't show and as a result she had simply...forgotten about the invitation altogether. "Oh." It was all she could think to say in that moment as Frost went to let Aiden in. Nadya set the last of the cutlery down on the table before brushing her hands down the front of her dress. It had been so long since seeing him she hardly knew what to do around him anymore. Nonetheless, Nadya offered a small warm smile and a nod when Frost returned with Aiden in tow. "It's-...you look good." She gently looped her arm around Frost's, stealing what strength she could from being at his side in that moment.
It was a blessing she was sure that another soon joined them. She hadn't seen Marcelo in quite some time though Frost had informed her that he had joined Chimera. The first male to join the pack. Nadya had teased Frost about having to share his girls with another man's affections now. "Marcelo, you made it." Nadya smiled at the nearly haphazard way he began to toss out presents. "That's so nice of you." She stepped away to hover at the bottom of the stairs. "Izzy! Micah! Time to come downstairs!" The twins which happily scuttled into view and down the stairs were dressed in their pressed holiday outfits. Micah in his blue button down collared shirt and brown khakis and his sister in her red velvet and white trimmed dress with white stockings and black mary janes to match. There was no way they would be dressed in anything less for a holiday dinner no matter how small of a gathering.

"Izzy, Micah, this is Aiden and Marcelo. Marcelo is part of our pack now and he brought you two presents." Nadya brought the pair to stand before the two visitors. Micah's eyes were alight with delight as he took the present that was offered to him. Izzy, though she took the present looked far more suspicious seeing as hers was the same shape and could clearly see the wheel popping out of her brother's. Instead her gaze fell on the wooden horse that Frost had. "Papa, can I have yours? I'll trade you." The young girl was already reaching out for the wooden toy, clearly anticipating an answer of yes already. The twins had taken to calling Frost by papa every once in a while since Nadya had been pregnant previously. The idea that the baby in her tummy was going to call him daddy and not them had been confusing and surprisingly upsetting. They knew Frost was not theirs but were just as attached to him; they had known him their entire lives after all. With that understanding Nadya had finally given up correcting them. Nadya rolled her eyes slightly and shooed them away, "Why don't you two show Marcelo the tree and all the ornaments you got to put up?"

Micah happily took Marcelo's hand and tugged him towards the large tree that nestled in the living room all aglow. He was still much quieter and calmer than his twin but was coming out of his shell with each passing year. Nadya took the bottle of bourbon from Frost, pressing a quick kiss to his cheek while whispering in his ear. "Don't think I forgot about your birthday either. You'll get your present tonight." She teased easily before stepping away into the kitchen only to return with glasses filled with the amber liquid. "Here." She handed a glass over to her mate and offered one out to her brother. She herself sipped on a glass of water. "...How's business?" She supposed it was a safe enough topic to start with as her attention landed back on her brother.
