Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

death incarnate & night triumphant

Dark hazel eyes glance around at the destruction of his townhouse. He had... pushed off remodeling since the... outburst Matteo had worked him through. It was, perhaps, one of the most impressive magical tantrums he had thrown in several centuries which left him feeling with an overwhelming sense of guilt for a brief time afterwards. It hardly took him much time to feel a great sense of thankfulness towards Matteo, his friend being gifted with foresight. If Matteo hadn't worked the Fae Lord through such emotions... a strip mall would have been decimated. Despite such outbursts, the remainder of the evening had been rather relieving; not only did Andras need to release such anger but having a drink with an old friend was much needed.

Running long fingers through his hair, he glances at himself in the mirror, straightening his dark tie, he's quick to slide on his suit jacket, the man nearly always impeccably dressed not even a spec of dust to be found. Thankfully, his room had remained untouched, most of the damage done to the kitchen and living area. Exiting his bedroom, he snags his shoes and moves towards the front room, stepping over some general rubble on the ground. Quickly sliding his shoes on, he buttons his top button on his jacket before taking one last look at the townhouse. He would be spending the next week or so in Somnia to allow the reconstruction of the house and it was high time he dealt with the local lords of his world. The fact the monarch hadn't been bothered in several days was... interesting to say the least, he had a sneaking suspicion Ida may have had something to do with it.

Not even the most hardened Fae warrior would face the old woman, she was... terrifying to say the least. Ida had worked for the monarchy long before he was born, the old faerie talented in many things and she had become an important part of his court. Truly, he could never get away from Somnia if it weren't for the woman, she simply kept all the lords in line until he returned.

A soft smile tugs at the corner of his lips before he turns on a heel and moves down the stairs and out the front door. No sooner than he had turned to lock the door does his name float towards him. Turning, his dark eyes fall on a woman, his head tilting slightly in an almost predatory way. Hands slip into his pockets as he begins to move towards her an almost easy going smile remaining on his lips... although, there is an edge to his simper. Perhaps it was the glint in his eye, or perhaps it was the fact that such a smile didn't quite meet his eyes. Gone is the gentle man only to be replaced with the Fae Lord. There was a familiarity about the woman and yet... he couldn't quite put his finger on it. The fiery haired faerie woman stands proudly in front of his home, even as he takes several long strides until he stops, looking down at her.

It was concerning... this stranger knew about Somnia, all faeries who lived in his world were bound to him... an oath that could not be broken to speak about the hidden paradise. Though clearly he had some work to do if a stranger had come waltzing up to his house asking him about such things. "Is that so?" His deep tenors purr in an ancient accent no longer in existence, that unnerving smile remaining on his lips, "Please do tell how you may have come across it?" He asks, almost in a bored tone as his dark eyes inspect the woman casually. "You wouldn't happen to be Samantha Cassidy... the former Queen now, would you?"
