Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Another dreary boring night, the cool breeze howling through her slightly cracked window and yet she seemed unbothered by the chill while she sat reclined upon her bed, tapping her toe to the thunderous beat of drums that her father hated. The discord of such sounds was comforting to her ears.. Boredom was a vice that gripped her and yet Sacrosanct was turning out to be just as dull as any other town they might have settled in. How quickly her parents settled into their roles here and yet not her. A restlessness tugged within her like a itch she could not scratch, clawing away inside of her... They were right, they had never steered her wrong before. She was even starting to grow fond of her room that was only lit by far too many candles that her mother had made good upon her word on. She carefully only lit the ones that provided her with her favoured scents, the rest were stashed within her closets. She had gone overboard... but it was only a testament of the impressive woman herself.

The room's shadows danced with the flickering flames assaulted by the chilled wind, still smelling of that rain.... normalcy.

And.......

A scent she did not recognize. Although the rain had all but washed it all away, it was but a droplet of something new. Something far different from anything that fit in this picture perfect suburbia playground. It was probably nothing. But it was utter boredom that caused the vampire woman to kick her black legging clad legs off the side of her bed. Like a broken marionette she rose before stealing but a glimpse outside. Everything was as she knew, the street view picture perfect. Perfect lawns, perfect cars, perfect lives. Their own home blending in with its perfection despite who lived inside. But it was the rain that sullied it, but not to her.. But to those that resided on that street it would be an almost blemish to that perfect little neighbourhood and with their secrets hiding behind those deceptively perfect facades. What she didn't expect to see was an ominous shadow amongst everything else, a red glow of a cigarette honing her bright electric blue eyes to the scene. Vampire eyes missing nothing. He was standing there, staring... out of place she suspected even without the rain. She stared and waited.

He looked near sinister from here. Interesting. Far more interesting than her room. Far more interesting than this. She blew out those candles with ease, not bothering with that window or a coat as she made her way down the steps and out into the outside word. The soft patter of cold rain against her cool undead flesh hardly minded. Her skin was alabaster, but not as white as her hair. Moving on quiet feet she approached, unsure if she was intending to catch him unawares and ungaurded or if she was simply approaching.

"You are new." She stated, as she remained out of reach behind him, unconcerned that he might have lashed out. Her voice, however was meant to be invaisve and interrupt whatever little reverie he had made for himself. He seemed deeply occupied, longlingly looking into the illuminated window of the neighbours house facing opposite to her own.

"Neighborhood watch would have a field day." She drew forward to stand within reach before him, that cigarette smoke was fortunately muted by the steady drops of rain. "I guess that would presently be me." Would it? She wasn't quite sure how that worked but they were forced to have the same sticker in their window. Her lips quirked upward like she found her own words funny, fangs just barely flashing on display from the shield of her lips. But it was hardly a smile that provoked any sort of warmth or calm. Not that anything could truly cut through that miserable cold that could slice almost as well as a sharpened blade.

Even though so many wished it to be before. Projecting was a mortal flaw and yet how many saw a sweet doll like face and ignored what lingered beneath. Her starkly white hair standing out upon the backdrop of misery, her features feminine and placid despite the hint of amusement that lurked there. There was the scent of animal that clung to him, that she could determine from the plumes of smoke that wafted from him. Hmm. He looked terribly alone. Sufficiently miserable and... something else that caused the vampire to take another step closer, willing to ignore the smoke to gain a better look of him.. His hair, she was certain would appear black and scruffy if wasn't so heavy with rainwater, she looks to the strands of it plastered to his face. How long was he out there in the cold for? From the look of him, it looked like quite a while. It was a wonder he wasn't shivering. His eyes appeared dark in the night, like a void that could devour, while hers elecrifyingly blue and piercing, content to even appear bright in the contrast of gloom that overtook perfection. No one would notice them, she was certain. The residents never really paid much notice beyond their noses, unless it was to be nosy. But no one was ever really nosy in the rain.... Well.. for the exception of these two nosy beings.

No he didn't seem like a lamb, but he definitely seemed lost. A stray, maybe? "What do you think they would do if I told them that I found someone sniffing around their house?" She nodded her head in the direction of the house he had been prowling, her face betraying nothing.
