Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Despite his offer of help, no doubt his swimmers were already well past her cervix. Do doubt they were already on their journey, unable to be stopped at this moment. Maybe she wouldn't get pregnant. After all, it was unheard of for a vampire to have a child, so the likelihood that this momentarily lapse of reason would result in a child was slim. And yet, it was that very slim chance that had her upset.

He asked a couple of times what he could do, but really there was nothing. There was nothing they could do to prevent a pregnancy should one occur. All they could do was wait. It was an option she didn't care for, but it was the only viable option they had.

"Just hold me." There was nothing else they could do. She wanted him to hold her, to wrap her in his strong embrace. And when he did (because she knew he would not deny any snuggling...especially tonight), she turned in his arms and rested her head on his chest.

She took comfort in his scent, despite it being masked by the bubble bath. It was masculine and earthy, with a hint of herself. It was erotic. "We never talked about more kids, whether we wanted more or not...or even if we can...and with Tenley, the pregnancy came and went within a couple of weeks. Our wedding in next week. We can't have a wedding if I'm showing." There was no proof that she was even pregnant. They couldn't know that until she started to have symptoms...if she was pregnant at all. So really, what was making her upset was the idea that not only would she be too big for her dress, but that it would be too dangerous to show the world a pregnant vampire on display.
