Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

i'm always just one jump ahead of the hitmen and one trick ahead of disaster

Tipson was going to label this as one of the more memorable days he'd had in a long time. From the moment the vampire had attacked him it was memorable. Add in a dark hero who claimed to not be a hero, to being taken back home after hero saved him, one girl looking like she was about to faint, hero rushing off without a word, and a stranger saying she already knew him. He had taken some nice drugs for the throat but his mind didn't feel at all fuzzy to blame that for the insanity.

Tipson watches Ren fetching the finishing touches for the meal and setting the plates down as he tries to puzzle out at least one person. No matter how his mind goes over ladies he had met he just couldn't place her. Was it as simple as a mistake? Things were rarely that simple but it wasn't impossible. Taking his spot at the table Tipson does find himself distracted by the smell of the spaghetti. The sauce smelled way to good to be something from a jar. She was putting a lot of attention into making a meal for two guys that got home late. Tipson was a recent addition, this would of initially been made for Bo. Did she always cook like this or did she like the guy?

Her answer to his question for a moment just lead to more puzzlement. Tipson was confident he hadn't eaten a meal with any lady in the northern district. The closest thing he'd come to having a meal with someone there was, wait. The one he'd met a week ago up there had been a cat. No. yes, it could be. No. Tipson could follow that thought trail but he might not like the answer. He was already tired, and still in pain even though it had dulled down some. There was enough going on at the moment Tipson decide to quit chasing down that line of thought. It couldn't of been her, she wasn't a...nah. Don't think about it. She was asking him a question anyway.

Tipson had been twirling spaghetti around his fork while lost in his thoughts and finally pulling up the scoop of wound spaghetti away from the rest as he answered. "Trouble? Nahhh," Tipson used his free hand to wave away the very notion of trouble. No, he didn't expect her to buy it, there was an amused smirk on his face. "I was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Some assh..." uh, probably wrong language in front of a seemingly nice lady considering they weren't on his home turf, "some vampires were upset over something and I was the target of their anger." Tipson shrugged. It didn't sound like a half-baked truth to him, vampires were asshole bastards who would attack a human even if the person wasn't stealing their property. "I guess late-night meal or something but I didn't..." Tipson paused in his sentence as he heard Raven approaching.

Bo was puking? Post stress? She never did so he probably wouldn't? What? Tipson's line of thought on his story faded as he pondered on the guy. Not that he cared about some guy he'd only just met but the guy had saved his life so a bit of concern was reasonable. Also curiosity of what had the controlled fellow throwing up? Had he been that composed only because he'd been holding in some emotions? Tipson understood all too well about burying pain that you couldn't accept. This house presented too many things to be curious of all at once! Should he give up the food and go check on the guy?

Tipson watched Raven dig into the meal with the speed of a starving person, or someone trying to take up one action to not focus on another. Tipson was going to need to sleep at some point but was his mind going to let him the way questions kept piling up? He had already forgotten about Ren's hint on where they had met. A few bites later Raven choked on a noodle. Of course, she did. That went perfectly with the rest of the evening.

Tipson jumped up, starting to walk around to her side before looking from the lady to Ren, "I don't know..." Ren apparently knew how to help Raven though. That much was a relief. One way or another it felt like the night was determined to try and kill someone.

"Oh, right," Tipson responded to Raven's question, recalling where he'd left off in answering Ren about it earlier. "Unhappy vampires, or maybe just thirsty vampires thought I was a good target to pick on. I guess human and alone at night does scream meal time for those bast.." He was around women, aim for proper word choice, "Anyway. I was pretty sure I was screwed then Bo showed up, took care of them," no need to mention whether dead or not as he had no idea if these ladies were the squeamish sort or not. "Anyway, Bo got to be the shining hero in black who is dead set he's no hero. Just rescues a stranger, drags him to a doctor then takes him home for a meal and bed." Idiot Bjorn. That was totally the work of a hero in Tipson's mind but it was fine if the guy didn't feel like one. Tipson had given him the prized gems as payment so that made them even anyway, right? Ignoring the fact that Bjorn could have kept them without Tipson's permission easily enough.

Tipson twisted about in the chair when Bo showed up, a brow lifting at the sword with the blanket and pillow, "I promise. I can sleep without the sword, actually, I'll sleep better without the sword." After that, the guy is at the table to eat with them. What a strange thing. Sitting at a table, eating in a person's house, one not even on the low end of town, with four others, and the food was freaking fantastic. It felt way too much like a world he no longer belonged in, not even to visit. It was like someone tossing a muddy shirt amongst a pile of clean white ones. Tipson wasn't supposed to have this.
