Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

I know some things should just stay broken

i'm well aware this should remain unspoken

Sterling was undeniably exhausted. His body felt weak, his limbs too heavy and the bed far too comfortable. He needed sleep. He yearned for it and yet his fear of the dark, and of night, remained forever potent. Henry had always had a way of chasing away those horrors, the comfortable feeling of his body next to Sterling at least served as a reminder that he wasn't alone in the event Cronus returned for him (however unlikely that was). In that moment of vulnerability - it was that comfort his ex alone could provide that he craved, one that saw him inquire for Henry to stay...and in his bed, no less. He watched as his ex paused, clearly debating the choices before him before he nodded, reaching down to strip his shirt from his figure. His pants followed soon after and then, shortly after that, Henry was climbing into his bed like he had thousands of nights before - like he belonged there.

Sterling curled in on himself, his stomach hurting far more than he cared to admit. His head landed gently upon Henry's shoulder, the boy lingering close without entirely cuddling with his ex in the way that they once used to. His eyelashes fluttered closed, it hardly taking long before sleep took both himself and Fiducia - the witch's potion all but demanding his body to recover from both what it had endured and what was to come. It was sometime later, in the wee hours of the morning, that his eyes opened, his brows furrowed at that horrible feeling of nausea that caused his stomach to roll in a way that was wholly sickening. A soft groan reverberated upon his lips as he pulled himself from the warm sheets, his steps swaying as he made his way to the bathroom - only to vomit a black...sludge that tasted utterly awful coming up. He leaned heavily against the counter as he sat on the floor, using the furniture to keep him upright as he tried to simply ride out that terrible dizzying sickness.
