Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

but from what I know of desire

It is perhaps one of the few times the snowy-haired man has ever truly cared to offer even the faintest of insights into the childhood and world he had left behind several years ago. He holds no shame in it, has nothing to hide from those who would seek to pry and yet he sees little need to engage in conversations of the past, indulging Nadya's curiosity with an almost blunt honest if only because the woman most certainly hardly expected it- Frost taking some small amount of pleasure in derailing the woman's own clever wit. Her commentary in regards to the bathroom saw his attention lift briefly from the infant in his arms, a smile dancing momentarily as he offered a soft snort by way of amusement.

"We did not all live in the same home. I lived just with my mother. Think of it as more of a community- I suppose. The type with the gate around it. No one goes in or out without reason."

Some parts of his infancy had perhaps been more upon the precious side that Nadya had so sought to find and yet, so much more of it was better forgotten- if only because he had no need to remember it nor dwell upon it. There was far more than one occurrence in his earlier years that may well have seen a weaker creature succumb to the memories that threatened to fight free of whatever darkened corners of his mind they hid within and yet- Frost remains wholly indifferent. He begrudges near nothing of his childhood, has simply accepted it for what it was and yet he offers truly little real detail in any form. There is far more to be said in regards to this 'community' it would seem and yet for now he offers nothing else. He is far more interested, indeed, in explaining exactly why this woman's choice in pack had been so inherently poor. Perhaps she believed she was bound by some sense of family, the familiarity and ease of her siblings presence offering a security blanket of sorts and yet he has every belief the woman is capable of far more then she has so far displayed- or ever will display beneath that thick-headed lump of a panther and his deluded spotted friend whom, aside from his rather obvious power, seemed to be as useful as an ice cube in a snow storm. As for the rest of the pack, Raven was of no interest, the girl to broken- damaged and weak willed to be of any real use to him. Regan, perhaps, had some potential and yet the girl was often absent, her scent weak in most places. Perhaps she was more inclined to being a loner, as her species dictated and there was no real shame in that. He is not however, the type to call more than once for a creature unwilling to come on command. Regan he suspects- is not willing enough.

Nadya alone had solicited his attention, if only because Tobias seemed more trouble then he was worth, the young woman's children, rather then hinder his attentions, seeming only to increase them. She was intelligent, valuable and came with two rather pleasing little attachments that would only grow in time. Her talents being wasted by her brother- or so he is inclined to feel and whether she should choose to indulge his thoughts or not he remained content to offer them, even if only to place them conveniently within her mind. How long would it be, truly, before Tetradore himself managed to damage the relationship with his sister enough that she came running to him willingly all the same? He simply had to wait, the equine ever patient when he had to be.

"I hardly know most of my siblings, there is no bond there, as you call it. They mean no more to me than any other stranger."

His siblings were no more worth saving then any other to his mind. If they were valuable then he would make an effort to maintain them, if they weren't their deaths would mean little to him. He has seen death- in its, hundreds- thousands and perhaps to a certain extent he has become near desensitized to it, whatever power it had held over him in his youth seeming to have dulled now to little more then an irritation. After all- it was irritating to suffer the loss of a man, he had to be replaced then and that was only further work he did not desire to do.

"Just because you have always done something does not mean it is the best, it simply means you fear change. Your sibling and this- Tobias, provide something for you and that is why you stay. I truly think it is time however, that you evaluated their value to you and you the them. You do not need them merely as much as you think, you have simply been conditioned, by circumstance- to believe it."

She was intelligent and more then capable of keeping up he is assured, her arms extended now for the child as he moves to shift ever so slightly, lifting himself upward to stand now and offer the girl back to her mother. His power however, continues to function, merely transferring it from himself to Nadya, allowing that blissful heat to warm her own form and continue to provide the infant with the heat in which she had fallen asleep as Nadya moves to place her with her sibling. For his part, Frost simply continued to stand, that shock of white hair concealing his gaze and tangling with the length of his lashes somewhere beneath the mess of it. Her final sentence, and the evident innuendo within it, is hardly missed by the young man- a soft chuckle humming from within his throat.

"That depends on how good the ride is now doesn't it?"

One eye simply lifts, meeting her sarcasm with his own well baited words before his shoulder simply offer a smooth shrug.

"I have no intention of disappearing into the sunset, I have no intention of leaving this city- and I'm not that easy."

Another grin dances so swiftly across his lips it is surely missed unless her eyes had been fast enough to spot it, a sudden increase in his power seeing that heat flare teasingly throughout her form before he allows it to simmer soothingly once more.

"But if you say yes- then let me worry about the fallout. Your being wasted- every part of you and you can do better, but the choice is your own. I'll find you again later."

If she liked word games, then why not indulge her, hmmm? He simply turns from her then, smoothly, shutting off the warmth he had offered her near instantaneously as he turns to head for the door, pausing briefly within the doorway all the same.

"Goodnight, Nadya."
