Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Some kind of madness has started to evolve

and the stars in their orbits shone pale through the lightof the brighter, colder moon

Nadya had only begun to experiment with her new power of gravity. Its appearance had startled her as it had reared its head using her emotions just like her others had. Really no one would blame Nadya so much about her over protective nature had they been with her during her first few times taking the twins out. One was hard enough to manage but two was downright difficult with two as they became more mobile and explored. She had been cleaning Izzy when Micah had been attempting to climb a nearby log when it unlodged a smaller log on top so it rolled off pinning the small kitten to the earth. Nadya had only meant to push it off with her paw but the sheer fear that had coursed through her hearing Micah's cries had caused the wood to explode into pieces as she pushed it away. Well, from there Nadya took the time to find out the exact parameters of it and found it quite useful indeed. Nadya pulled her arm back below the comforting heat of the water as Frost inspected from afar the gravel that once was a rock.

In all honesty Nadya hadn't expected Frost to relent and lower his mental shield. It felt like a rubber band mostly, elastic in the way her own mental ability tried to press forward before snapping her right back out. When that pressure subsided did her power seek out its target with precision that ripped the air from Frost's lungs and let slip the profanity from his mouth. The young male's reaction only drew a smirk from Nadya as she rolled her eyes and muttered simply. "Don't be such a baby." It was true she could do a whole lot more and while she also knew Frost's exclamation was due to surprise with the pain she could never pass up a moment to insult him. Even though she insulted Frost she followed it up to make him forget such pain by soothing him with the touch of the pheromone ability. Nadya was careful with it as she always was now, controlling the output and gauging the reactions of the 'victim' so as not to get stuck with a situation like Tobias. So when she finished her little demonstration she too was a little surprised at Frost's sudden closeness. She had been focusing so much she hadn't noticed the minute movements within the water that drew him within arm's reach. Or rather his arm's reach.

No sooner had Frost uttered those five words was his hand guiding her to him and his lips upon hers. It just wasn't something Nadya had expected. She hadn't even used half of her pheromone power and she had already removed it for goodness sakes! The action caused Nadya to stiffen in surprise before Frost's own power seeped into her very core. It no longer mattered how or why he was kissing her as the wonderful icy heat enveloped her making her mind go blank of all conscious thought as she was very soon kissing him back, holding him to her with her fingers weaved through his platinum blonde hair which honestly she had been wanting to touch for some time now.

What caused Nadya to snap back to reality unsure but perhaps for the best before anything could escalate any further between the pair. The young girl separated from Frost nearly panting attempting to draw air to her lungs and regain coherent thought. Her whole body screamed at her to cease such foolishness of pushing him away wanting that brain numbing warmth that drew her feline form to him like a moth to the flame. Yet her brain was luckily the one in the driver's seat allowing Nadya to uncurl her fingers from Frost's air and plant her hands on his chest to push him back to a decent distance. "I...need to go..." A new fire exploded through Nadya's veins as she twisted about to leave the hot tub, her ebony coated jaguar form taking over midway shredding the bikini in the process to fall in the water in useless pieces of fabric. Golden eyes looked back at Frost, curious yet frightened at what had just happened. Surely it had just been her power that had caused him to kiss her. With a twitch of her long tail Nadya took off towards the South letting the shadows swallow her.
